The case of the plagiarism of hairdresser's professional manual was characterized in the article. The original manual is 'Modern Haircutting and Styling', wrote by Louise Kublick. The book was published in 1935 in Chicago (USA). The plagiarism is the book 'Zasady strzyzenia wlosów i stylizowania fryzur' signed by James Snyder. The book was translated from English into Polish by Z. Borecki and published in 1938 in Warsaw by publishers of journal 'Kosmetyka Nowoczesna - Moda - Sztuka Fryzjerska'.
