Autorka snuje rozważania na temat odniesień wzajemnych kluczowych dla współczesnej lingwistyki pojęć: dyskursu, stylu, gatunku i tekstu. Proponuje oryginalną procedurę interpretacyjną, traktując wymienione pojęcia jako kolekcję, czyli zespół składników przestrzeni poznawczej, w ramach której pojęcia brane pod uwagę stanowią dla siebie kontekst pojęciowy.

Die Autorin thematisiert Dilemmata eines Linguisten, mit denen er in der Textsorten- und Gattungsforschung konfrontiert wird. Als Grundvoraussetzung erweist sich, eine bestimmte (methodologische) Forschungshaltung einzunehmen, also zu entscheiden, ob man den separatistischen oder den integrativen Ansätzen folgt. Ein weiteres, damit eng zusammenhängendes Problem, ist die Frage des Untersuchungsobjekts, und zwar dessen Erfassung und Nomination (Textsorte/Textgattung, Texttyp). Die Autorin schlägt vor, diese Aspekte im Rahmen der allgemeintheoretischen, beschreibenden, historischen, praktischen sowie kognitiven Text- und Gattungsforschung zu diskutieren. Die Textsorten- und Gattungsforschung ist als philologische Disziplin anzusehen, die sich gegenüber anderen geisteswissenschaftlichen Disziplinen öffnet muss.

The article presents prayer books which have been in circulation since the Second Vatican Council. A classic prayer book has a fixed structure and a formative character as it transmits a re-ligious outlook on life. It usually contains utterances written down in a hieratic style with elements of an official style. Modern prayer books do not have a fixed structure, even though, they retain the form of a silva (a collection of diverse genres). Their formative character consists in, either letting different subjects (saints or other moral authorities) speak, or in taking into account the worldview of an intended reader. This may lead to far-reaching stylistic openness consisting in the introduction of forms which are typical of given addressees’ community. Modern prayer books may adopt a colloquial style (including low registers), while their hieratic nature disappears.

The article contains an analysis of a monothematic and isofunctional set of author’s utterances implementing genre conventions of the column. However, they are not analyzed in the genre per- spective. The author aims to illustrate the issue of identity parameters of texts, perceiving them as a mosaic of relations determined by concepts in the eld of culturally entangled communication such as: journalism, evangelization, (evangelistic, press) discourse, genre, and text. The arrange- ment of concepts from types of human activity, communication spaces and discourses through genre lters to texts allowed to extract and characterize the phenomenon of the column pro led evangelization journalism in analyses embedded in discourse analysis, yet without displaying its speci c current.

The article presents the main genological determinants of announcements – such determinants result from the specific character of Internet communication (especially hypertextuality). The author of the article exposes common elements characteristic of both Internet announcements and traditional press announcements. She especially emphasizes genological (intertextuality) and discursive (interactive style of communication) conventions. The article also presents different variants of this genre found existing on the Internet. It also discusses the paradoxes of the genre, which are determined by a matrix¬ like character of websites, but at the same time it changes dynamically in order to both follow the readers’ expectations and continually transgress them.

Punktem wyjścia analiz czyni autorka polszczyznę potoczną jako tworzywo językowe wypowiedzi prasowych. Podstawę materiałową stanowią dwa artykuły publicystyczne i felieton z „Gazety Wyborczej” z roku 2019. Autorka skupia uwagę na zakresach użycia form potocznych w nacechowanych gatunkowo, konkretnych tekstach oraz na sposobach dostosowania owych form do zadań, jakie nadawca przypisuje wypowiedzi. Badaczka nie dąży do wynajdywania komunikacyjnych prawidłowości o ogólnym charakterze. Z płaszczyzny makro przechodzi na płaszczyznę mikro, by pokazać kunszt redaktorski twórców konkretnych wypowiedzi. Formy potoczne (głównie leksykalne) są wpisywane w obce potoczności konstrukty tekstowe, podlegając oryginalnym procesom stylizacyjnym. W tekście pierwszym są składnikami sprawozdania sądowego, w drugim kilku mikroopowiadań, a w trzecim stanowią realizację zasady felietonowego konceptyzmu, który wynika z kontaminacji schematu opowiadania unaoczniającego i sprawozdania z klinicznych objawów choroby.

The starting point of the author’s analysis is colloquial Polish as the linguistic material of press utterances. The material base consists of two journalistic articles and a feuilleton from “Gazeta Wyborcza” of 2019. The author focuses on the scope of use of colloquial forms in generically marked concrete texts and on how these forms are adjusted to tasks the authors assigned to the utterances. The researcher does not endeavor to search for communication regularities of general nature. She moves from the macro plane to the micro plane to show the editorial virtuosity of the authors of concrete utterances. Colloquial (mainly lexical) forms are embedded in textual constructs unknown to colloquialism and undergo original stylistic processes. In the first text they are elements of a court report, in the second – of a few microstories and in the third text they are a realization of the principle of feuilleton conceptismo resulting from contamination of the pattern of an illustrative story and a report on clinical symptoms of a disease.

The object of the interpretative analyses and reflections in the article is a specific text to which the journalist added a peculiar form of the reporter’s narrative. It is a story of a tragic event, presented in a textual collage form which the entire Poland lived through for a few days due to media messaging. It is about the death of a girl initially considered lost on the basis of her mother’s account. The collage message, that is a single-intentional message composed of autonomous utterances representing various genres, consists of the reporter’s narrative and admitted voices. The first category of speech is shaped in a peculiar manner by its added nature of the hypothetical narration, containing a simple narrative of real events, witnessed by the reporter, and metatextual comments polemical towards the other media coverage. The group of the admitted voices includes: utterances of people in the street, fake utterances of the deceased child addressed to her mother, voices of experts and comments of Internet users. They are arranged in two strands of communication: the speech of hatred and voices of empathy. Shaping the reportage in the textual collage form is a creative modification of the genre conventions.

The author presents how the rule of genealogical reductionism is reflected in the motor press pertaining to the choice of genre of written pieces. The analysis shows that the motor press omits certain genres of written forms. Some are lacking in all the magazines, some are forced out from certain journals. Some genres, which are chiefly commentarial appear rarely or sporadically. This also relates to an outline, a report, an interview and some variations of commentaries. Another example of the functioning of the rule of genealogical reductionism is the domination of some peculiar forms of transmission, mainly such forms (and their variations) as autonomous announcement under the form of a collection, specific editorial commentary, special realization of the convention of mentioning as series, advisory commentary as a news piece creating an ensemble of genres with certain types of judgmental commentaries. The motor press shows, how such forms may be characterized by genre transgression.

In the article the author presents the basic assumptions of the genre analysis of text. She establishes the goals of such analysis, referring to the notion of a genre pattern including four aspects : structural, pragmatic, semantic and stylistic. She also mentions the variety of the pattern, recalling that typically it consists of the following versions of the pattern: the canonical pattern, the alternative patterns and the adaptive patterns. The author considers the recognition of genre realized by a given utterance to be the primary objective of the genre analyses. Due to the interferential nature of many modern genres, filling different spaces of the logosphere, the author proposes to combine both the descriptive and prescriptive aspects in the analysis and comments on the level of the communication efficiency of the authors of texts. The genre analysis should consist of the following procedures: 1) the definition of genre signals, allowing a preliminary identification of the type of speech, 2) the analysis of the implementation of various aspects of the pattern: its structure, pragmatics, semantics and style of the utterance, which allows to verify the identification and assesses the level of implementation of genre conventions.

The article is concerned with the unusual prayer book entitled ‘’A text message to God, a prayer book for people who have little time”. The author treats it as a genre in a collection form, because it has a title, an introduction and a specific composition. This prayer book consists of blocks of statements which form micro-collections, composed on the principle of analogy. It differs from traditional prayer books that are collections of various genres. The new form does not mean a departure from traditional religious style principles. The author of the prayer book cites the Bible, uses archaisms (syntactic and lexical ones), set metaphors and specialized lexis. The prayer book implements the principle of combining tradition and modernity in contemporary Polish religious discourse in the original way

Zagadnienie stylistycznego ukształtowania komunikatów prasowych autorka ujmuje w trzech perspektywach, nawiązując do koncepcji stylów funkcjonalnych, komunikacji oraz dyskursu. We wszystkich tych płaszczyznach jest ponadto obecna problematyka genologicznego zróżnicowania wypowiedzi. Styl komunikatów prasowych autorka postrzega jako kategorię polimorficzną, pojemną i otwartą. Oznacza to możliwość rozpatrywania stylu na różnych poziomach konkretyzacji: najbardziej abstrakcyjnie (poziom komunikacyjny i/lub dyskursywny), mniej abstrakcyjnie (poziom gatunkowy) oraz konkretnie (poziom wypowiedzi). Dzięki temu gęstnieje siatka cech stylistycznych (często synkretycznych) i konkretyzują się wykładniki. Styl jest zaś rozpatrywany deskrypcyjnie – nie dyferencjalnie.

This chapter presents the problem of the stylistic form of press releases referring to the concepts of functional styles, communication and discourse. All these perspectives also refer to diversity of expression in terms of genre. The style of press releases is seen as a polymorphic, capacious and open category. This means the possibility of examining the style at different levels of concretization, including the most abstract manner (the level of communication and /or discourse), less abstract tone (the level of genres) and specific way (the level of expression). Due to this approach the grid of stylistic features thickens and the exponents are mapped.
