This article deals with verification of the thesis, that implemented since 2014 The European Youth Guarantee Program, from the perspective of its threeyear function has improved the situation of young Poles in local labor markets. In this article statistical data and MRPPS reports were used to analyze the unemployment rates and activation of young people on the labor market. An important element of the comparative evaluation of the program is developed on the basis of a European Commission report on the Youth Guarantee and Youth Employment Initiative three years on, which presents a qualitative and quantitative analysis based on data collected from Member States, including Poland.

Celem artykułu jest weryfikacja stawianej w artykule tezy, że wdrażany przez Polskę od 2014 r. europejski program „Gwarancje dla Młodzieży” z perspektywy swojego trzyletniego funkcjonowania wpłynął na poprawę sytuacji młodych Polaków na lokalnych rynkach pracy. Dostępne dane statystyczne oraz raporty MRPiPS posłużyły do analizy wskaźników bezrobocia i aktywizacji młodzieży i stanowiły tło dla pogłębionej na podstawie dostępnych badań i literatury oceny sytuacji bezrobotnej młodzieży na rynku pracy. Ważnym źródłem informacji są zebrane w raportach i opracowaniach analizy działań podejmowanych przez resort pracy i publiczne służby zatrudnienia oraz ocena ich efektów w zakresie realizacji programów aktywizacji młodzieży na rynku pracy.
