Tekst stanowi próbę zaakcentowania raz jeszcze zjawiska wielokulturowości w edukacji, a przyjęta teza brzmi: ostatnie zmiany programowe, związane z likwidacją ścieżek międzyprzedmiotowych w szkołach podstawowych i gimnazjach nie sprzyjają realizacji w procesie kształcenia treści dotyczących różnorodności kulturowej. W artykule ukazano wybrane elementy różnych systemów edukacyjnych krajów europejskich w aspekcie zmian i nowego spojrzenia na wciąż postępujące zróżnicowanie kulturowe współczesnych społeczeństw. Wiele uwagi poświęcono polskim rozwiązaniom oświatowym, zwłaszcza nowej podstawie programowej. W tym kontekście zaprezentowane zostały wyniki badań własnych, dotyczące realizacji treści wielokulturowych w podlaskich szkołach.

The text constitutes the attempt to emphasize once again the phenomenon of multiculturalism in education, and the accepted thesis is the following: the last programme changes associated with the liquidation of cross-curricular paths in primary and secondary schools do not conduce to the realization of the content related to cultural diversity in the educational process. This article shows the chosen elements of different European education systems in terms of changes and new look at progressive multi-cultural societies. The attention was mostly paid to Polish educational solutions, especially the new core curriculum. In this context, the results of the study on the implementation of information related to multiculturalism in the schools of the region of Podlasie have been presented.

W artykule prezentuję teoretyczne ujęcie zagadnień z zakresu programów szkolnych, przedstawiam także kilka wątków z badań własnych dotyczących ich roli i miejsca w praktyce oświatowej i edukacyjnej. Wiele uwagi poświęcam uregulowaniom prawnym z zakresu dopuszczania do użytku programów kształcenia.

In the article I present the theoretical approach issues concerning school programs. I also present a number of themes from own research on the role of education programs in educational practice. I pay much attention to the legal provisions in the application of educational programs.

The scarcity of research on this topic makes this study all the more relevant.
