The article describes two television channels: a general one (TVN) and its thematic variation (TVN Style) in the context of transformations observed in the genological and discursive character of television itself. Analysis of the programme schedules of both TV channels reveals a tendency to create specific genres, it distinguishes certain types of speech that appear in both channels and presents the style of some magazines. Such presentation leads to certain conclusions on the essence of thematic television and the task it is to fulfil.

Przedmiotem niniejszego artykułu czynię kategorię prywatności, której śladów poszukuję w postach internetowych publikowanych na profilu jednej z tajnych grup zawiązanych w mediach społecznościowych. Poddany analizie materiał badawczy ukazuje genologiczną proweniencję wpisu internetowego, tym samym udowadniając, że wirtualna przestrzeń, wbrew powszechnym opiniom, nie stanowi obszaru wypełnionego zupełnie nowymi gatunkami mowy. Zmianie ulega bowiem jedynie forma przekazu, co ma związek z otoczeniem medialnym, w którym osadzony jest post. W przeanalizowanych wpisach internetowych odnaleźć więc można dobrze znane wzorce gatunkowe wykorzystywane w celu osiągania określonych zamiarów komunikacyjnych. Podjęte rozważania pozwalają również ustalić parametry dyskursu prywatnego, a w upublicznionej prywatności dostrzec swoistą strategię ujawniania siebie, coraz chętniej stosowaną przez użytkowników mediów społecznościowych.

The article focuses on the category of privacy, whose traces are looked for in Internet posts published on the profile of a secret group formed in social media. The analysed research material reveals genological provenance of an Internet post, thus proving that virtual space, contrary to popular belief, is not an area filled with completely new genres of speech. What undergoes change is only the form of message, which is related to the media environment where the post is embedded. Thus, in the analysed Internet posts one can find well-known genre patterns applied to achieve particular communication intentions. The undertaken considerations also allow one to determine parameters of private discourse, and to perceive privacy that has been made public as a specific strategy of self-disclosure, more and more willingly used by social media users.
