Wspomaganie wychowawczej roli rodziców jest określonym ustawowo zadaniem polskiego systemu edukacji. Konkretne formy wsparcia dla rodziców uczniów organizowanego przez szkołę wskazują przepisy regulujące udzielanie i organizację pomocy psychologiczno-pedagogicznej. Pomimo tych gwarancji wsparcie dla rodziców ucznia bywa fragmentaryczne, schematyczne i realizowane w mało zróżnicowanych formach. Ilustracją mogą tu być wyniki przeprowadzonych wśród rodziców badań, których prezentację zawarto w opracowaniu.

Supporting the educational role of parents is a statutory task of the Polish education system. Specific forms of support for parents of schoolchildren organized by the school are indicated by the regulations governing the provision and organization of psychological and pedagogical assistance. Despite these guarantees, the support for the pupils’ parents can be fragmentary, schematic and implemented in insufficiently varied forms. The results of research carried out among parents, the presentation of which is included in the text, can be the illustration of this.

Opracowanie dotyczy gwarancji i realizacji praw dziecka w środowisku szkolnym. Scharakteryzowano w nim istotę praw dziecka, regulację tych praw w sferze edukacji. Zasygnalizowano także problem realizacji tych praw w polskiej szkole. Przedstawiono w nim również wyniki badań przeprowadzonych wśród studentów pedagogiki, które dotyczyły ich doświadczeń w zakresie realizacji ich praw jako uczniów, w kontekście roli nauczycieli w tym zakresie.

The text concerns the guarantee and implementation of children’s rights in school. It describes the essence of children’s rights and the adjustment of these rights in the sphere of education. The problem of the implementation of children’s rights in the Polish school was indicated too. It presents the results of research carried out among students of pedagogy, which concerned their experience in the implementation of their rights as schoolchildren, in the context of the role of teachers in this area.
