The goal of the following article is to demonstrate lack of consequence and "informatics awareness" among Polish government and paragovernmental institutions, revealing as imposing upon subject companies and private institutions data exchange formats requiring application of specific operating systems and commercial software. The phenomenon becomes extraordinarily threatening in the presence of the potential inclusion of Poland into European Union structures. The authors do not intend to neither attack nor abuse any institutions or companies, the issued examples are meant only to clearly point the actual state.

Celem poniższego artykułu jest wykazanie braku konsekwencji i „świadomości informatycznej" pośród polskich władz oraz instytucji pararządowych, objawiających się poprzez narzucanie podległym im firmom i instytucjom prywatnym formatów wymiany danych, wymagających stosowania określonych systemów operacyjnych i oprogramowania komercyjnego. Zjawisko to staje się nadzwyczaj niepokojące wobec potencjalnego włączenia Polski do struktur Unii Europejskiej Autorzy nie zamierzają atakować ani obrażać żadnych instytucji ani firm, przytaczane przykłady mają jedynie jasno zarysować stan faktyczny.
