The article contains an analysis of the reasons for the humidification of constructional partitions, with the attention paid to the accompanying phenomenon of electrocapillarity. The formation of a double electric layer as well as individual constructional arrangements of dehumidification of buildings have been discussed on the basis of theoretical constructional arrangements. The authors have also described the employed methods of electroosmotic drying and made the conclusions on a practical usefulness of those methods.
