W artykule dokonano oceny zamiarów budowy stałych baz amerykańskich w Polsce w aspekcie działań podejmowanych przez Zachód na rzecz odstraszania strategicznego i stabilizowania sytuacji bezpieczeństwa międzynarodowego. Przeanalizowano działania podejmowane przez Stany Zjednoczone po aneksji Krymu na rzecz utrzymania bezpieczeństwa na terytorium Europy. Dokonano oceny porozumienie NATO-Rosja z 1997 roku w aspekcie obecnych uwarunkowań środowiska bezpieczeństwa międzynarodowego. Przedstawiono plusy i minusy rozlokowania na terytorium Polski baz amerykańskich.

The article assesses the intentions of building permanent American bases in Poland in terms of actions taken by the West for strategic deterrence and stabilization of the situation of international security. The analysis of actions taken by the United States after the annexation of the Crimea to maintain security on the territory of Europe. The NATO-Russia agreement of 1997 was evaluated in terms of the current conditions of the international security environment. The pros and cons of the location of American bases in the territory of Poland are presented.

The assessment of the transformations that will take place in the field of nanotechnology and their significance for conducting military operations and ensuring security has been assessed.

Gwałtowny postęp technologiczny jaki dokona się w ciągu dwóch najbliższych dekad, zrewolucjonizuje warunki życia ludzi na ziemi. Będzie miał on również swoje konsekwencje dla bezpieczeństwa globalnego. Celem artykułu jest zidentyfikowanie przeobrażeń jakie dokonają się w sferze nowoczesnych technologii oraz dokonanie oceny ich wpływu na bezpieczeństwo. W artykule przedstawiono jaki wpływ na życie ludzi będzie miała sztuczna inteligencja oraz zidentyfikowano wyzwania i zagrożenia dla ich bezpieczeństwa. Wyjaśniono jakie konsekwencje niesie ze sobą postęp w sferze biotechnologii i w jaki sposób będą one wpływać na prowadzenie walki zbrojnej. Dokonano oceny przeobrażeń jakie dokonają się w sferze nanotechnologii oraz ich znaczenie dla prowadzenia działań militarnych i zapewniania bezpieczeństwa.

Aggression in Ukraine and illegal annexation of the Crimea region carried out by the Russian Federation in 2014 led to drastic and negative changes in the international security environment and initiated confrontation with the West. In this situation, NATO was forced to take precautions. The assessment of the developing paradigm of assuring security by the Alliance in the new international situation is made in the article. Its contents introduce changes which took place in relations of NATO with Russia during the last few years. The article explains the way the Alliance assures security in the area covered by the treaty and in the Black Sea region.

Agresja na Ukrainie i nielegalna aneksja Krymu dokonana przez Federację Rosyjską w 2014 roku doprowadziła do drastycznych, negatywnych zmian w środowisku bezpieczeństwa międzynarodowego i zapoczątkowała konfrontację z Zachodem. W tej sytuacji NATO było zmuszone do podejmowania działań zapobiegawczych. W artykule dokonano oceny kształtującego się paradygmatu zapewniania przez Sojusz bezpieczeństwa w nowej sytuacji międzynarodowej. Jego treści prezentują zmiany jakie dokonały się w relacjach NATO z Rosją na przestrzeni ostatnich kilku lat. W artykule wyjaśniono w jaki sposób Sojusz zapewnia bezpieczeństwo w obszarze odpowiedzialności traktatowej oraz w regionie Morza Czarnego.

The notions of infrastructure and critical infrastructure in particular are ambiguous and in most cases do not take into account the consequences of threats. The aim of the article was to present the results of research on evaluation of critical infrastructure security theory. The article presents interpretations of the notion critical infrastructure and its author's definition. It clarifies the security determinants of critical infrastructure and points to the key elements determining its security.
