Ze względu na systematycznie rosnącą liczbę wydarzeń sportowych i innych wydarzeń kulturalnych w polskich miastach jest budowanych coraz więcej wielkich obiektów sportowo-rekreacyjnych. Są to zarówno stadiony piłkarskie, jak i hale widowiskowo-sportowe. Ich obecność uwidacznia się znacząco w przestrzeni turystycznej miast. Celem artykułu jest określenie roli i znaczenia wielkich obiektów sportowo-rekreacyjnychw przestrzeni turystycznej polskich miast. Zaprezentowano dane opracowane przez administrację poszczególnych obiektów oraz władze miejskie. Dokonano też klasyfikacji obiektów ze względu na różnorodne czynniki.

Due to the systematically increasing number of sporting and other cultural events, more and more large sports and recreation facilities are being built in Polish cities. There are two football stadiums, as well as sports and entertainment halls. Their presence is clearly visible in urban spaces. The purpose of the article is to limit the role and importance of large sports and recreation facilities in the spaces of Polish cities. The data were presented by the administration of various sport venues and municipal authorities. The objects were also classified according to various products.
