The article brought closer to the status and directions of agricultural cooperatives in selected Member States of the European Union, as well as in other European countries. This information may be useful in the modernization of the agricultural co-operative structures and determine the direction of its development in Poland. In the countries of the “EU-15” producer groups - industry cooperatives, are an essential link in the organized structure of the market for agricultural products, created with producers. However, the state of organization of the agricultural producers in Poland is still insufficient. We can observe the steady growth of interest in the management of farmers’ co-operative form. Mainly pig producers, grain and oilseeds, milk and poultry producers choose this form of cooperation. There are no regional trade and industry groups, particularly unions, like the well-organized agriculture in the countries of Western Europe. It would be of interest to farmers’ ability to organize themselves in associations to represent their interests and strengthen its position in the markets for both local and global.

The aim of the empirical research conducted in 2021 was to determine the effectiveness of the adopted strategy and working methods of SIR brokers from PODR in Lubań during the implementation of the project "E-networking - innovative solutions in agriculture". One of the assessed methods was coaching which was carried out using ICT tools. The use of the coaching method in the process of creating operational groups for innovation is innovative because it is one of the first such activities. The conducted research shows that both information meetings, webinars and coaching sessions were assessed positively by the participants, while a significant increase in satisfaction from the participation in the entire project was observed if the person participated in the coaching sessions. This information is significant in terms of introducing new working methods in agricultural advisory services. Based on the experience of this project, it can be concluded that the coaching method should be positively received by potential recipients of the advice.

Celem badań empirycznych przeprowadzonych w 2021 roku było określenie skuteczności przyjętej strategii i metod pracy brokerów SIR z PODR w Lubaniu podczas realizacji projektu „E-sieciowanie – innowacyjne rozwiązania w rolnictwie”.
