When we talk about anthropological and social problems, we usually methodologically assume an epistemically stable structure of thought “human-family-society”. This creates a basis for the philosophical model of the family, which is characterized by causal hermeneutics. One cannot talk reliably about the family without referring to the individual and you cannot speak reliably about the society without referring to the family, which then enables the family to be “communion personarum”. This constellation takes on a transcendental configuration at Kant, phenomenological at Husserl and existential at Heidegger. The reference to mandatory ethics, living world and concern is taken. This establishes the methodological framework, where the ontological-epistemic and ethical structure of the family can be analyzed, looking back at the value of life.

With a view of Husserl and Foucault the article ist seeking a critical epistemological phenomenological analysis of the relationship between the notions of intuition and discourse. The central question is: what can intuition and discourse afford? The epistemological performance of these terms is determined both generally and specifically. While the general performance highlights the establishment of the human subjects in the real world, it is the special performance with the access of subjects to the ideal objects. This situation requires the complementary pursuit, i.e., a synthesis of the intuition and the mind.

The essay examines the problems of the family in the context of the possibility of the good, which occurs in various forms in everyday life. The perception of responsibility for good has a positive effect on the security of the individual and society. Family as a specific social cell is concerned not only with the experience of freedom, but also with the shaping of responsibility on the individual and the social level. On the basis of this experience, the perspective of a good life is shown, which is also based on the authentic experience of love, happiness and holiness. When the family realizes its basic tasks, it shows clearly that it not only unites in itself different types of goods, which are necessary for the development of the individual and the society, but is also an irreplaceable good.
