Tanatopedagogy is a subdiscipline of pedagogy dedicated to education in aspect of illness and death. It is originated from hospice and voluntary movement, whose aims are to improve life conditions of people who sufer andprepare family and friends to participate in the fnal phenomena. Perceivingpeople who are ill and sufer as 'Others' leads to seek for common interests of intercultural pedagogy and tanatopedagogy, but also for basic concepts of education in intercultural contexts.
