The purpose of this article is to present basic information on bibliometric analysis of scientific achievements. This analysis is basis of the most popular indicators such as number of publications, number of citations, average citations, Impact Factor, Hirsh index. An analysis of publications Szczecin’s scientists indexed in the interdisciplinary database Web of Science is introduced in article.
