Rozpatrując wyzwania stawiane przed przedsiębiorstwami XXI w., nie można zapominać o kształceniu odpowiednich kadr, w tym szczególnie kadr inżynierskich. Polskie uczelnie techniczne razem z przedsiębiorcami powinny wypracować system edukacji, który zapewni odpowiednią, pożądaną strukturę kwalifikacji na rynku pracy. W artykule zaprezentowano wyniki badań prowadzonych w grupie pracodawców, studentów uczelni technicznej i młodych inżynierów dotyczących postrzegania przez nich obecnego systemu edukacji w aspekcie tworzenia idealnego inżyniera XXI w.

Now, we can’t forget about the training of personnel, including engineering staff for modern 21st century companies. Polish technical universities together with entrepreneurs should develop a system of education for provide an appropriate, desired qualification structure in the labour market. In the article the authors have presented the results of research carried out in the group of employers, students and young engineers, how they view the current education system in terms of creating an ideal engineer of the 21st century. The article is a response to the challenges of the future labor market.
