Niniejszy artykuł zogniskowany jest wokół analizy sposobów organizacji czasu wolnego w polskim społeczeństwie w odniesieniu do budżetu czasu, jakim dysponują Polacy (zarówno w ujęciu dziennym, jak i tygodniowym). Na podstawie dostępnych badań zweryfikowano dynamikę zmian spędzania czasu wolnego w latach 1976–2018 i jej wpływ na możliwą progresję potencjału poszczególnych specjalizacji turystyczno-rekreacyjnych.

Following article is focused on the analysis of the way of free time organization in the polish society according to the budget of free time (in the daily and weekly range). Based on the available research there were verified the dynamic of the changes of the ways of spending free time in the range of 1976–2018 and its influence on possible progression of the potential of chosen touristic-recreational specializations.

Niniejszy artykuł zogniskowany jest wokół analizy potencjału zjawiska turystyki ekstremalnej w Europie, Azji, Ameryce Północnej i Ameryce Południowej w kontekście szeregu procesów ekonomicznych i społecznych, jakie zdeterminowały pojawienie się nowej formy aktywności turystycznej. W związku z popularnością turystyki ekstremalnej wśród młodzieży wskazano również na zagrożenia związane z ryzykiem indywidualnym, jak i zagrożenia dla bezpieczeństwa wewnętrznego skorelowane z nieodpowiedzialnymi zachowaniami na terenach zamkniętych i opuszczonych.

Following article is focused on the analysis of the potential of extreme tourism phenomenon in Europe, Asia, North America and South America in the context of several economic and social processes which have determined the new form of touristic activity. In the connection with the extreme tourism popularity among youth there were highlighted the danger connected with individual risk and danger for internal security correlated with irresponsible behaviors in the closed and abandoned areas.
