Niniejszy artykuł stanowi ostatni z serii publikacji nt. ewolucji definicji społecznej odpowiedzialności biznesu. W ramach cyklu publikacji autorka wprowadziła czytelników w świat ewolucji koncepcji CSR począwszy od wczesnych lat 30-tych XX wieku do współczesności. Autorka zauważyła charakterystyczne stadia rozwoju koncepcji, które stymulują narodziny, dojrzałość i ostatecznie wiek starości. W konsekwencji poszczególne stadia nazwała zgodnie z fazami rozwoju poznawczego, tj. okres sensoryczno-motoryczny, wyobrażeń przedoperacyjnych, stadium operacji konkretnych, operacji formalnych, późne stadium formalne, działania o charakterze przeddialektycznym, dialektycznym oraz transcedentalnym. W oparciu o studia literatury zagranicznej i polskiej autorka przedstawiła szereg definicji pionierów i uznanych naukowców w dziedzinie CSR oraz dokonała charakterystyki każdego w wymienionych okresów rozwoju. Autorka ma nadzieję, że seria artykułów przyczyni się do popularyzowania wiedzy nt. koncepcji społecznej odpowiedzialności biznesu, a ponadto uporządkuje podstawowy stan wiedzy na temat CSR.

The present article is the last in the series of the evolution of the definition of corporate social responsibility. As part of the series of publications the author introduced the readers to the world of the evolution of the concept of CSR since the early 30s of the twentieth century to the present day. The author noticed the characteristic phases of development of the idea that stimulate the birth, maturity, and the finally age of retirement. The various stages were named according to the phases of cognitive development ie.: term sensory-motor, pre-operational ideas, the stage of concrete operations, formal operations, late stage of the formal activities of before dialectical and transcendental dialectic. The presented studies are based on foreign and Polish literature. The author presents a number of definitions of the pioneers and recognized researchers in the field of CSR. The author shows the characteristics of each of the periods of the development of CSR. The author hopes that the series of articles will contribute to popularize knowledge on the subject of Concepts of corporate social responsibility, and also arrange the fundemental knowledge on CSR.

Celem artykułu jest uporządkowanie stanu wiedzy w zakresie ewolucji definicji pojęcia CSR poprzez analizę tematycznej literatury zagranicznej i polskiej. W niniejszej pracy prowadzone są rozważania dotyczące ewolucji pojęcia CSR w latach 1980-1989 oraz 1990-1999, które zwane są odpowiednio stadium operacji formalnych oraz późne stadium formalne. Artykuł stanowi czwarty z serii publikacji nt. „ewolucji pojęcia społecznej odpowiedzialności biznesu”.

The aim of this article is to organize the state of knowledge in connection with the evolution of the definition of the concept of CSR. This time the study includes an analysis including years from 1980 to 1989 and 1990 to 1999. Those phases, respectively, are called formal operational stage and late formal operational stage. The article is the fourth from the series of works of the author concerning the evolution of the concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR) relating to studies of foreign and Polish literature.

Celem pracy jest zasygnalizowanie problematyki lokalizacji zakładów produkcyjnych branży motoryzacyjne na świecie w świetle zagadnień telematyki transportu. W celu poszukiwania innowacyjnych rozwiązań optymalizujących procesy logistyczno-transportowe zachodzące pomiędzy zakładami produkcyjnymi a klientami rozpatrywane są podstawowe cechy charakterystyczne telematyki transportu w branży motoryzacyjnej.

The aim of the article is to present the topic of the location of automotive production facilities in the world in the light of issues connected with transport telematics. Essential characteristics of transport telematics in the automotive industry are consider in order to search for innovative solutions to optimize logistics and transport processes occurring between production facilities and customers.

The Analysis of Births and Household Poverty Levels with the Consideration of the Material Effect of the ‘Family 500 Plus’ Programme

Objectives: The objective of the article is to assess the performance of the Polish government’s family policy programme known as the ‘Family 500 Plus’ programme, with special consideration of the material effect. In this study, the authors attempt to assess the performance of the ‘ Family 500 Plus’ programme (Journal of Laws of 2016, item 195 as amended) in the first years of its operation, answering the question about whether the implementation of the government’s family policy programme has contributed to an increase in births and a decrease in the level of poverty in households in Poland. Research Design & Methods: The authors conducted research on the chosen indicators, using the method of incomplete induction based on inductivism and verificationism. The study relies on the literature review and desk research. The analysis made use of statistical data provided by the Central Statistical Office (GUS). In the preparation of this article, legal acts placed on the Website of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland – as well as relevant scientific publications – were used. Findings: Since the launch of the ‘Family 500 Plus’ programme, the number of births has clearly been gradually increasing. In the analysed period, we have laso observed positive birth changes within large families. The developmental trend of births showed an upward tendency in the first two years of the Act in force and changed in 2018. This clear change can be observed in the area of extreme poverty in households in 2015–2018. In households with at least two children up to the age of 18, there was a change in the extent of extreme poverty by almost 50%, which was approaching the extreme poverty line in a given year in Poland. Implications & Recommendations: In view of the changes in trends in the number of births observed since 2018 as well as the extent of extreme poverty in households, the authors recommend further observation and analysis of the indicators presented in this study. Contribution / Value Added: The presented analysis of the indicators and the observation of development trends will allow for a proper adjustment of family policy. In the future, this might make it easier for the public authorities to take appropriate decisions concerning family policy. Article classification: research article
