The aim of the article is to solve the problem, whether the media is responsible for the decline in the quality of a public debate. The comparison of media transmission has led to the conclusion that media was especially critically oriented towards PiS what brought about its politicization. The idea of Marcin Król is used in order to describe the reasons of media manipulation. The measure that could lead to the end of such conflicts has been suggested. That is deliberative democracy.

Last local election showed that the voter turnout in Poland is low and not everybody wants to participate in election. This article tries to find the causes of this situation in Poland while underlining the importance of turnout. What is more, the aim of this article is to show that increasing the number of people who vote is quite difficult. It is caused by so many various reasons.

The object of the article is analysis of the similarities and differences between the Great Depression of 1929 and the financial crisis of 2007. In the first part of the study the author presents the reasons, evolution and consequences of both crises. In the second part she discusses the similarities and differences between the two crises in order to show their evolution scheme. For this purpose the author uses Minsky’s theory of financial crises. The analysis shows that the causes of both crises are the same. In this context the main issue is incorrect monetary policy and excessive deregulation.
