W artykule przedstawione zostały wyniki badań ekosystemów leśnych pod wpływem immisji przemysłowych w Górnośląskim Okręgu Przemysłowym oraz proces powstawania pustyni industriogennej. Wskazano, że wyniki wieloletnich badań procesów degradacji środowiska przyrodniczego stanowią podstawę i mogą być wykorzystane w procesie dydaktycznym przyczynowo- -skutkowego odzwierciedlenia relacji człowiek–środowisko.

The article presents the results of forest ecosystems under the influence of industrial immission in the Upper Silesian Industrial Region and the emergence of desert indium-striogennej. It was pointed out that the results of years of research processes of degradation of the natural environment are the basis and can be used in the teaching process of cause-and-effect relationships reflect the human-environment.

W artykule przedstawiono metody skutecznego kształcenia dzieci i młodzieży w zakresie poznawania praw przyrody, mechanizmów oraz procesów w sposób przyczynowo-skutkowy. Jednocześnie wskazano, jak można zdobytą wiedzę wykorzystać w rozwiązywaniu praktycznych problemów związanych z ochroną i kształtowaniem środowiska. Ważnym elementem edukacji prośrodowiskowej jest również kształtowanie właściwych postaw wobec przyrody młodego pokolenia Polaków, od których już niebawem zależeć będzie stan naszej przyrody i jej zasobów.

In the article presented are methods of effective education of children and youth on learning the laws of nature, mechanisms and processes in a cause and effect way. At the same time showed was how to use acquired knowledge in solving practical problems connected with protection and formation of environment. An important element of pro-environmental education is also shaping of proper attitude, of young generation of Poles, towards nature. Soon, the state of our nature and its resources will depend on them.

Na przykładzie kopalnych nośników oraz alternatywnych źródeł energii elektrycznej przedstawiono światowy problem środowiskowy XXI w. Podkreślono rolę odtwarzania i wzbogacania zasobów przyrody oraz zachowania spuścizny przyrodniczej i kulturowej w realizacji zasad zrównoważonego rozwoju.

The article describes the history of the notion of sustainable development and the constitutional status of this idea. On the example of fossil fuels and alternative sources of energy, a global environmental problem of the twenty-first century were presented. The role of reproducing and beneficiation of natural resources and the role of preservation of natural and cultural heritage in the implementation of the principles of sustainable development were accentuated.
