Ze względu na wyjątkowe walory krajobrazu północnej części Jury Krakowsko- Częstochowskiej, słuszne wydaje się podjęcie działań mających na celu ochronę charakteru lokalnej zabudowy,mającej znaczący wpływ na tworzenie klimatu tego miejsca. Gmina Olsztyn (koło Częstochowy) swój charakter urbanistycznoarchitektoniczny zawdzięcza uwarunkowaniom topograficznym i historycznym jurajskiego pasma. Kamień występujący powszechnie w naturalnym krajobrazie oraz w zabudowie na tym terenie nadał jurajskim miejscowościom specyficzny klimat miejsca, czyniąc je unikalnymi w skali kraju. Wypracowana przez pokolenia konsekwencja w kształtowaniu formy odpowiada za spójny charakter tradycyjnych struktur osiedleńczych. Autor stara się przedstawić istotne elementy architektury regionalnej występującej na terenie gminy Olsztyn.

Due to the exceptional values of the northern landscape of the Cracow- Czestochowa Upland, it seems appropriate to take measures to protect the character of local architecture that has a significant impact on the character of the place. The municipality of Olsztyn (near Czestochowa) owes its urbanarchitectural character owing to the topographical and historical conditions of the Polish Jura range. The stone, commonly found in the natural landscape and in its architecture, has given the local towns an individual atmosphere of the place, making them unique in the country. The generational consequence of shaping the form is responsible for the coherent character of traditional settlement structures. The author tries to present important elements of regional architecture present in the municipality of Olsztyn.
