Abstract: As a human attribute, subjectivity may also be a feature of social relations. In this meaning, subjectivity plays a particular role in the educational interaction, as it controls the nature of the mutual relations among the individuals involved in the educational process. The aim of this article is to illustrate the nature and determinant qualities of subjective interaction in education. Presented here are internal and external factors of subjectivity. The role of the student and the teacher in the building of double-subjective relationship is also discussed. Moreover, the article demonstrates the possibilities of experiencing and developing the subjectivit of the persons participating in the process of education.

Podmiotowość jako atrybut człowieka może być również własnością relacji społecznych. Tak rozumiana podmiotowość odgrywa szczególną rolę w interakcjach edukacyjnych, regulując charakter wzajemnych stosunków poszczególnych osób procesu wychowawczego. Celem artykułu jest ukazanie istoty i uwarunkowań podmiotowych interakcji w wychowaniu. Przedstawiono wewnętrzne i zewnętrzne uwarunkowania podmiotowości, a także omówiono rolę ucznia i nauczyciela w budowaniu relacji dwupodmiotowych. Ukazano też możliwości doświadczania i rozwijania podmiotowości osób biorących udział w procesie edukacyjnym.

The aim of the article is to show the figure of Professor Mieczysław Łobocki who has a special place in the history of Lublin pedagogy. The Professor’s academic interests were concentrated mainly around the issues belonging to theory and methodology of education. In his numerous publications in this area he combined social psychology with the humanistic orientation and Christian personalism, trying to permeate education with the highest moral values. He believed in the same values in his life, since he was an exceptionally sensitive, empathic, honest, helpful and modest man.

Celem artykułu jest ukazanie sylwetki Profesora Mieczysława Łobockiego, który zajmuje szczególne miejsce w dziejach lubelskiej pedagogiki. Zainteresowania naukowe Profesora koncentrowały się głównie wokół zagadnień z teorii i metodyki wychowania. W swoich licznych publikacjach z tego zakresu łączył psychologię społeczną o humanistycznej orientacji z personalizmem chrześcijańskim starając się nasycać wychowanie najwyższymi wartościami moralnymi. Takie same wartości wyznawał w życiu. Był bowiem człowiekiem niebywale wrażliwym, empatycznym, uczciwym, pomocnym i bardzo skromnym.
