Article is devoted to scientific and practical analysis of the effectiveness of certain energy use for domestic householders – heating of private houses (apartments). According to current research, much of the most economically costly fuel – natural gas is consumed by the people (mainly for heating), at the same time the lowest savings in natural gas consumption in Ukraine was also observed among the private householders. Considered and calculated the costs of the application for heating: natural gas, electricity, firewood, pellets and heat pump. To compare different fuels the results converted to kWh • hour of energy required for heating. Calculated cost of heating the house (apartment) by different types of fuel, ranked costs for various types of heating private house (apartment) to the area of Sumy region.

This article is devoted to estimation of active competitiveness of the enterprise of medium business and is focus on the grounding of measures to improve its competitiveness in crisis conditions. To determine the main factors affecting the level of the enterprise competition was held SWOT-analysis and made the profile of the external environment for the company "The doors of Belarus" (Kiev). In this paper was carried out evaluation of the enterprise and finding ways to improve its activity by using the expert method and the benchmarking. In the article is economically grounded the choice of raw material providers in order to conclude new contracts and increase in sales. The main ways of increasing the enterprise competitiveness and products in the conditions of crisis are proposed. The possibility of decreasing the cost of production through the reduction of transport costs, raw material costs and other materials and improving the efficiency enterprise activity due to successful marketing activities been detected.

This paper investigates economic and legal aspects of reformation of energy sector management in Ukraine concerning to adaptation of national legislation to EU legislation in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy as well as economic incentives for energy saving. There is substantiated the necessity of adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to European standards of energy efficiency in the context of international obligations assumed by Ukraine. Based on the analysis of domestic regulatory and legislative acts in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy and mechanisms of economic incentives for energy efficiency measures, there is estimated the level of compliance of economic and legal framework of Ukraine to European legislation. National strategies, plans and programs for energy efficiency and renewable energy development are analyzed and the current state and prospects of their implementation are evaluated. There are detected shortcomings of the current legal framework in the field of economic incentives for energy efficiency increase in Ukraine and proposed the ways of its improvement.
