Knowledge of Anoikonyms (Minor Place Names) in Rosice Within an extensive research of anoikonyms in Moravia and Silesia, the anoikonyms from Rosice were collected. The article presents results of investigation carried on among 17 representatives of all generations of the residents of Rosice in the autumn of 2009. The aim was to ascertain whether the anoikonyms recorded in 1965 are still (in 2009) known and actively used. The representatives of the oldest generation acknowledged the familiarity of the largest number of anoikonyms, whereas the representatives of the youngest generation knew only a few of them (in some cases they use a certain anoikonym for a different object than in 1965, see e. g. anoikonyms Rocochác, Štepnice, U Svaté Trojice).

The researchers from the Department of Dialectology of the Czech Language Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences have been involved in research into traditional territorial dialects within the Czech national language. They have compiled six volumes of the Czech Linguistic Atlas (published in 1992–2011) while its electronic version is being finalised. Czech dialectologists have been compiling the Dictionary of Czech Dialects and the Dictionary of Minor Place Names in Moravia and Silesia. They collaborate on the individual volumes of the Linguistic Atlas of Europe (Atlas linguarum Europae) and the Slavic Linguistic Atlas (Общеcлавянский лингвистический атлас).

Pracovníci dialektologického oddělení Ústavu pro jazyk český Akademie věd České republiky se zabývají výzkumem tradičních teritoriálních dialektů v českém národním jazyce. Vypracovali šest svazků Českého jazykového atlasu (knižně vydáno v letech 1992–2011), dostupný je též v elektronické podobě. Čeští dialektologové zpracovávají Slovník nářečí českého jazyka a Slovník pomístních jmen na Moravě a ve Slezsku. Spolupracují na jednotlivých svazcích Evropského jazykového atlasu (Atlas linguarum Europae) a Slovanského jazykového atlasu (Общеcлавянский лингвистический атлас).

Confrontation of the Knowledge of Anoikonyms (Minor Place Names) in Jemnice, Rosice and Lhotice) In this paper, the authors compare the results they came to during the research of the knowledge of the anoikonyms amongst the representatives of three generations in three Moravian localities (Rosice, Jemnice, Lhotice). The individual generations gradually loose the awarness of the anoikonyms gathered in 1960s and 1970s. From the original set of them, the oldest respondents do not know approximately 25 %, the middle generation 50 % and the youngest generation 75 % of the names. Also new names relating to a new way of life were recorded. The anoikonyms are therefore a lasting part of the everyday communication, but their collection is not constant – it is variable and reflects the communicative needs of the language users.

At the end of 2011, the sixth volume of the Czech Linguistic Atlas – Supplements appeared. Five volumes of the Czech Linguistic Atlas were published between 1992–2005. It was created by the workers of the Departments of Dialectology of the Institute of the Czech Language in Prague and Brno. The Atlas gives a comprehensive and in-depth view of the territorial diversity of Czech dialects and of common speech, covers the main tendencies of their development and in this way it represents an important set of data for the study of the Czech national language. Currently, its electronic version is being prepared. The material collected for the Czech Linguistic Atlas will be one of the sources for the future Dictionary of Czech dialects.

The article focuses on phrasemes with the component husa (goose); its aim is to show how the word husa is reflected in Czech dialects, and to describe the motivation of the selected idioms and their meaning. In Czech folk phraseology, the units with this zoo-appellative are among the more commonly represented. The material, coming from the Archive of Folk Language, is being gradually processed in the Dictionary of Czech Dialects.

Příspěvek pojednává o frazémech s komponentem husa; jeho cílem je jednak ukázat, jak se výraz husa reflektuje v českých nářečích, jednak popsat motivaci vybraných frazémů a jejich význam. V české lidové frazeologii patří jednotky s tímto zooapelativem k těm bohatěji zastoupeným. Materiál pochází z Archivu lidového jazyka a je postupně zpracováván ve Slovníku nářečí českého jazyka.
