JHWH Bogiem wojny czy Pasterzem? (Ujęcie Ezechielowe) – w perspektywie lektury chrześcijańskiej

Artykuł jest próbą przedstawienia obrazu Boga w Starym Testamencie oraz przejęcia tego obrazu w środowisku chrześcijańskim. Tekst rozpoczyna się prezentacją imion Bożych w Starym Testamencie (JHWH, El Shaddai, El Elyon, Adonai, Pan Sprawiedliwy, Pan, który jest obecny; Pan, który uświęca, Sędzia, Stworzyciel). W szczególności zostały zaprezentowane trzy zasadnicze kwestie: Bóg w Ezechielowej perspektywie odnowy (Bóg wojny oraz Pasterz Izraela; Ez 5,11-12; 34,12-16); Porządek Jahwe objawiony w wizjach Ezechiela (Ez 1,4-28; 8–11; 40–48); Ezechielowa perspektywa w ujęciu nowotestamentalnym (Ap 4–5; 10). Główne tematy są potraktowane ogólnie i zaprezentowane w kontekście w całej Księgi Ezechiela oraz Księgi Objawienia św. Jana. Konkluzją artykułu jest brak istotnej różnicy między prezentacją Boga Starego Testamentu, a prezentacją Boga Nowego Testamentu. W obu częściach Biblii jest obecny Bóg jako miłujący Ojciec, który pragnie zbawić człowieka.

This article seeks to discover the picture of the God in Old Testament and the reception of this picture in the Christian field. The text begins with the presentation of God’s name in Old Testament (JHWH, El Shaddai, El Elyon, Adonai, The Lord Is There, The Lord Our Righteousness, The Lord Who Sanctifies You, Judge, Creator ). In particular, author presents three main questions: The God in Ezekiel’s view of renovations (the God of War and the Shepherd of Israel; Ez 5,11-12; 34,12-16); The JHWH’s order in the Ezekiel’s visions (Ez 1,4-28; 8–11; 40–48); Ezekiel’s perspective in the New Testament (Rv 4–5; 10). Certain major themes are treated in general and presented in the context of the whole the Book of Ezekiel and the Book of Revelation. The conclusion is that there is no difference between presentation of the God of Old Testament and presentation of the God of New Testament. In both parts of the Bible the God is presented as loving Father who looks to save of human being.
