The research show that the main educational environment if family. It can be also the best environment provided appropriate interpersonal relationships among its members take place there, i.e. among spouses, parents and children, and vice versa. One of the basic bonds in living among people is the moral one. Family life is very similar. A family wishing to be an exemplary community must realize appropriate coexistence and supply the society with valuable members – it must live moral values and present a strong moral bond, and also raise children in such atmosphere. The aim of this article is to attempt to present the significant role of moral education in family. And also to show the leading role of family in education (including the role of parents as the first teachers), and education methods and stages of moral education in family.

The family is the oldest and common natural institution and the community of mankind. The unquestionable role of the family stems from the continuous impact on the human being from an early age. It is the family that offers the possibility of development of the personality of an efficient and disabled human being. For a disabled person, the family becomes the most important inspirer of life. The family mostly influences the quality of life of its disabled members. It is the family that can provide a sense of security, recognition, love and self-worth. The purpose of this article is to attempt to answer the question of what role and importance is played by a disabled person in the family, and how does he/she affect the behavior of individual members of the modern family.

The TV picture – moving and colorful has a “magnetic” effect that evokes an orientation reflex, it fixes automatically the eyesight on the screen. The usage of the television and other media changes the socialization and upbringing process of the children in the families.Watching TV by virtue of its universality and attractiveness becomes for many families an integral part of family life and the most popular method of spending of free time. The commercials are an extremely attractive entertainment method because of the way how their content is presented. It is the reason why children like watching them. The aim of this article is an attempt to present responses for question about the influence of TV commercials on development of children’s psyche and their upbringing in the contemporary family.

The modern family experiences various crisis situations. These situations result from micro-sociological conditions such as: unemployment, lack of accomodation, economic poverty, mechanisms of the free market, inpouring of various values from the countries of Western Europe. The modern family is characterized by individuality and autonomy, isolates itself from any wider communities because of which its intimacy grows. The disappearance of traditional forms of marriage and family is also observable for the benefit of a relationship based on values, norms characteristic for the partner model. Family home is an extremely important social environment for children and young people, in which the grounds, norms of dealing, patterns of behaviour and the system of values are instilled into them.The goal of the following article is to attempt to answer the question what the value of intergenerational transfer of values in the family is and its impact on the modern family and also presenting the continuity of changes in the structure and functions of the modern family.
