Stoiska Rodzicielskie (ang. Parenting Shop) powstały na terenie Flandrii i Brukseli na mocy Aktu Parlamentu Flamandzkiego z 13 lipca 2007 r. Dla flamandzkiego rządu ważna zasadą jest prawo każdego rodzica do wsparcia we wszystkich aspektach związanych z rodzicielstwem. Stoiska Rodzicielskie pozwalają wielu organizacjom jednocześnie świadczyć skoordynowane i wszechstronne usługi na rzecz wszystkich rodziców. Ich celem jest rozwój kompetencji i potencjału osób wypełniających role rodzicielskie, redukowanie napięć i problemów oraz wzmacnianie sieci wsparcia społecznego wokół rodziców i dzieci. Na terenie Flandrii i Brukseli funkcjonują obecnie 24 Stoiska Rodzicielskie.

‘Parenting shops’ were introduced in Flanders and Brussels by the Flemish Parliament Act of 13th July 2007. For the Flemish Government, the right of every parent to get support on everything that involves parenting is an important principle. Parenting shops created the opportunity for organisations to come together to deliver services as a coordinated and integrated package accessible for every parent. The aim is to strengthen the competences and capacities of everyone involved in parenting, to reduce tensions and diffi culties, and to reinforce the social network around parents and their children. There are currently 24 parenting shops spread across Flanders and Brussels.
