Album autorstwa Eryka Dahlberga jest niezwykle interesującym źródłem do badań nowożytnej sztuki wojennej. Ma on postać książki liczącej 150 kart; na 140 z nich znajdują się szyki bitewne, pokazowe i ćwiczebne, a na 3 plany obozów. Łącznie w albumie zamieszczono 288 szkiców, podzielonych na 6 rozdziałów tematycznych. Album jest przechowywany w Archiwum Wojskowym (Krigsarkivet) w Sztokholmie. Umieszczone w nim szkice szyków bitewnych były w dużej mierze nieznane historykom wojskowym. Dotyczy to przede wszystkim polskich ordre de bataille. Zapoznanie się z nimi mogłoby w znaczący sposób pogłębić naszą wiedzę o staropolskiej sztuce wojennej w XVII w. Dlatego wydaje się właściwe, aby album Dahlberga został wydany drukiem, co przełożyłoby się na jego większą recepcję w gronie historyków zajmujących się historią wojskowości.

Album by Eric Dahlberg is a very interesting source for the study of the modern art of war. It has the form of book counting 150 cards; 140 of them are the battle, demonstration and instructional arrays, and 3 plans of the camps. In total, the album contains 288 essays, divided into six thematic chapters. The album is stored in the Military Archives (Krigsarkivet) in Stockholm. These sketches are largely unknown to the military historians. This applies above all to the Polish orders of battle. Knowledge on them could significantly deepen understanding of the traditional Polish art of war in the 17th c.; therefore, it seems appropriate to release Dahlberg album in print, which would disseminate knowledge on it among military historians.

Cel: Celem tekstu jest skrótowe przedstawienie konferencji, jaka odbyła się w dniach 15–16 marca 2018 r. Wówczas to w Collegium Humanisticum Uniwersytetu Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu (dalej: UMK) odbyła się III Ogólnopolska Konferencja Naukowa zatytułowana: „Człowiek – Informacja. Książka. Media”. Jej organizatorem było Studencko-Doktoranckie Koło Naukowe ePRINT, działające przy Instytucie Informacji Naukowej i Bibliologii UMK. Metoda badawcza: Autor osobiście uczestniczył w obradach sympozjum, słuchając wszystkich wystąpień, dodatkowo zadając pytania podczas dyskusji. Wyniki/Wnioski: Konferencja stanowi świetną inicjatywę dla młodych naukowców, którzy mogą sprawdzić się w tego typu działalności, tym bardziej że to już czwarta edycja tego kongresu. Niestety, ogólnie pozytywny całokształt psują niektóre wystąpienia, które nie powinny zostać dopuszczone do wygłoszenia.

Aim: The aim of the text is a brief presentation of the conference that took place on March 15-16, 2018. At that time, the 3rd National Scientific Conference entitled: “Man – Information. Book. Media “ took place at the Collegium Humanisticum of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (hereinafter: UMK) Its organizer was the PhD Student Scientific Circle ePRINT, operating at the Institute of Information Science and Bibliology of Nicolaus Copernicus University. Research method: The author participated in the symposium sessions, listening to all speeches, additionally asking questions during the discussion. Results/Conclusions: The conference is a great initiative for young scientists, who thanks to it can test their skills in this type of activity; it was the fourth edition of this congress. Unfortunately, the overall positive impression was spoilt by a few speeches of low quality that should not have been allowed to be delivered.

Ziel: Der Text bezieht sich auf die Tagung, die am 15.–16. März 2018 im Collegium Humanisticum der Nikolaus-Kopernikus-Universität in Toruń stattfand. Der Wissenschaftliche Kreis der Studenten und Doktoranden ePRINT, der am Institut für Wissenschaftliche Information und Buchwissenschaft der Thorner Universität tätig ist, organisierte die III. Gesamtpolnische Wissenschaftliche Tagung „Mensch – Information. Buch. Medien“. Forschungsmethode: Der Autor nahm persönlich am Symposium teil, vernahm alle Vorträge und stellte einige Fragen während der Diskussion. Ergebnisse/Schlussfolgerungen: Die Tagung gilt als eine hervorragende Initiative für junge Forscher, die sich mit den Fragen der Buch- und Medienkultur vertraut machen können. Es ist die vierte Edition dieses Treffens. Leider wird der allgemeine Eindruck durch einige Vorträge gestört, die nicht bewilligt werden sollten.

W dniach 9-10 marca 2017 r. odbyła się w Collegium Humanisticum Uniwersytetu Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu (dalej: UMK) II Ogólnopolska Konferencja Naukowa zatytułowana: „Człowiek – Informacja. Książka. Cyberkultura”. Jej organizatorem było Studencko – Doktoranckie Koło Naukowe ePRINT, działające przy Instytucie Informacji Naukowej i Bibliologii UMK. Jest to już trzecia impreza naukowa przygotowana przez młodych naukowców z Torunia. Na konferencji słuchacze mogli wysłuchać kilkunastu ciekawych wystąpień, w których Autorzy omówili nowe sposoby przekazywania treści, oraz możliwości i problemy czyhające na użytkowników szukających informacji w internecie.

On 9–10 March 2017 in Collegium Humanisticum of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun there took place the Second Polish Scientific Conference titled “Man – Information. Book. Cyberculture”. It was organized by the Scientific Circle of Students and PhD Students ePRINT, which operates in the Institute of Scientific Information and Bibliology of Nicolaus Copernicus University. It is the third conference organized by young academics from Toruń. The participants of the conference had an opportunity to listen to a dozen of interesting speeches, the authors of which discussed new methods of transmitting knowledge along with possibilities and problems which may be encountered by users of the Internet.

Ihr Organisator war der Wissenschaftliche Kreis der StudentInnen und DoktorandInnen ePRINT, der am Institut für Wissenschaftliche Information und Bibliologie der Nikolaus-Kopernikus-Universität in Thorn wirkt. Es ist schon die dritte wissenschaftliche Veranstaltung, vorbereitet von den jungen ForscherInnen aus Thorn. Während der Tagung konnten die Zuhörer mehrere interessante Vorträge wahrnehmen, deren Autoren auf die neuen Möglichkeiten der Inhaltswiedergabe sowie auf die Probleme der Benutzer, die nach Informationen online suchen, hinwiesen.

Jej organizatorem był Instytut Informacji Naukowej i Bibliologii UMK. Było to już drugie spotkanie poświęcone tej tematyce w grodzie Kopernika. Pierwsza impreza odbyła się jesienią 2015 r. w Wyższej Szkole Kultury Społecznej i Medialnej w Toruniu i zatytułowana była: „Wizualizacja informacji”.

It was organized by the Institute of Scientific Information and Bibliology of Nicolaus Copernicus University. It was the second meeting devoted to this issue and organized in Toruń. The first conference titled “Visualization of information” took place in the autumn of 2015 in the College of Social and Media Culture in Toruń.

Es war schon das zweite Treffen in Thorn, das dieser Thematik gewidmet wurde. Die erste Veranstaltung fand im Herbst 2015 in der Hochschule für Sozial- und Medienkultur in Thorn statt, und zwar unter dem Titel: „Die Informationsvisualisierung“.

W roku 2013 Książnica Kopernikańska obchodzi 90-lecie swojego istnienia. Z tej okazji redakcja czasopisma „Folia Toruniensia” zdecydowała się poświęcić cały tom szacownej Jubilatce. W specjalnym wydaniu czasopisma Czytelnik może zapoznać się ze szczególnie cennymi zbiorami przechowywanymi w Książnicy. Autorzy tekstów opisali nieznaną badaczom księgę z biblioteki króla Zygmunta Augusta, książki z kolekcji pastora Krzysztofa Henryka Andrzeja Gereta, liczne druki elbląskie, starodruki z dawnej biblioteki w Stargardzie Szczecińskim, a także niemieckie roczniki oficerskie i grudziądzkie afisze teatralne. Dzięki nim dowiadujemy się o bogactwie i różnorodności zbiorów Książnicy, jak również o interesującym procesie kolekcjonowania przez bibliotekę księgozbioru. Książnica Kopernikańska, najstarsza na Pomorzu polska biblioteka naukowa, przechowująca wspaniałe kolekcje historyczne jest zarazem biblioteką nowoczesną. Dowodem jest chociażby tekst dotyczący udziału biblioteki w tworzeniu bibliografii narodowej, potężnej bazy danych, stanowiącej podstawowe źródło informacji o polskim rynku wydawnictw.

In 2013 the Copernicus Library celebrates its 90th anniversary. Thus, the editorial team of the journal Folia Toruniensia has decided to devote a whole volume to the Library. The special edition of the journal allows the reader to get acquainted with valuable collections kept in the Library. The authors of the texts have described an unknown book from King Sigismund Augustus’ library, books from the book collection of the Reverend Krzysztof Henryk Andrzej Geret, numerous prints from Elbląg, antique books from the old library in Stargard Szczeciński, German officers’ annals and theatre posters from Grudziądz. The texts provide insight into the richness and variety of the Library’s collections and present to us an interesting process of book collecting. The Copernicus Library, the oldest scientific library in Pomerania, which stores the most precious historical collections, is at the same time a modern library, which is demonstrated in the article concerning the Library’s contribution to the creation of a national bibliography – a huge database constituting a basic source of information about the Polish publishing market.

Im Jahre 2013 feiert die Kopernikus-Bücherei das 90-jährige Jubiläum ihres Bestehens. Aus diesem Anlass haben sich die Herausgeber der Zeitschrift „Folia Toruniensia” entschlossen, den vorliegenden Band der geehrten Jubilarin zu widmen. In der Sonderausgabe der Zeitschrift wird der Leser in die Welt der besonders wertvollen Sammlungen eingeführt, die in der Bücherei aufbewahrt werden. Die Autoren der Beiträge haben ein der Forschung unbekanntes Buch aus der Bibliothek des Königs Sigismund August, Bücher aus der Sammlung von Pastor Christoph Heinrich Andreas Geret, zahlreiche Elbinger Drucke, Altdrucke aus der ehemaligen Bibliothek in Stargard in Pommern sowie deutsche Offiziers-Jahrbücher und Graudenzer Theaterposten beschrieben. Dank ihnen dürfen wir mehr über den Reichtum und die Vielfältigkeit der Bestände, aber auch über die an sich interessante Gestaltung des Sammelprozess durch die Kopernikus-Bücherei erfahren. Die Kopernikus-Bücherei, die älteste polnische Forschungsbibliothek in Pommern, die über hervorragende historische Sammlungen verfügt, stellt sich zugleich als eine moderne Einrichtung dar. Davon zeugt beispielsweise die in einem der Beträge geschilderte Beteiligung der Bibliothek an der Zusammenstellung der Nationalbibliografie, einer umfassenden Datenbank, die als Hauptquelle von Informationen zu dem polnischen Zeitschriftenmarkt genutzt wird.

Tekst przedstawia najważniejsze zmiany, jakie zaszły w czasopiśmie w ostatnim czasie. Dotyczą one nowego współwydawcy, zamieszczenia periodyku na Akademickiej Platformie Czasopism, przejścia na formułę Open Access, dodania cyfrowego identyfikatora dokumentu elektronicznego (DOI), nowych baz archiwizujących i indeksujących oraz wprowadzenia metadanych i bibliografii w stylu Chicago dla wszystkich artykułów. Te nowości wyznaczają kierunek, w którym obecnie zmierza redakcja „Folia Toruniensia”. W tekście zaprezentowano także skrótowo wszystkie artykuły, jakie zostały wy- dane w tomie 17.

The article presents the most important changes which have taken place in the journal recently. They concern the new co-publisher, the periodical’s being included in the Academic Platform of Journals, changing to the Open Access formula, adding the digital identifier of the electronic document (DOI), new archival and index bases, introducing metabases and bibliography according to the Chicago style for all articles. The changes mark new trends of the development of Folia Toruniensia. The text briefly presents all the articles published in vol. XVII.

Der Text schildert die wichtigsten Änderungen in der Zeitschrift, die in den letzten Jahren zustande gekommen sind. Sie beziehen sich auf den neuen Mitverleger, auf die Erschließung der Zeitschrift in der Akademischen Zeitschriftendatenbank, den Übergang zum Open-Access-Modell, die Ausstattung der Objekte mit dem Digitalen Objektbezeichner (DOI), die neuen Archiv- und Indexdatenbanken sowie auf die Metadaten und die Bibliografie im Chicago-Stil, gültig für alle Beiträge. Diese Neuigkeiten markieren eine neue Richtung, die für die Redaktion von „Folia Toruniensia“ zum Maßstab wird. Im Text wurde auch zusammenfassend auf alle Beiträge eingegangen, welche im Band 17 erschienen.
