Aventinischer Kreis der adligen Frauen im IV. Jahrhundert war wohl die erste christliche intelektuelle und feministische Gruppe in Rom. Zu diesem Kreis gehorten: Marcella und ihre Mutter Albina, Aseila, Melania, Fabiolla, Sophrania, Furia, Principia, Lea, Paula und ihre vier Tochter - Biesilla, Eustochium, Rufina und Paulina und auch ihre Schwiegertochter Leta, noch Marcellina - die Schwester des hl. Ambrosius und Irena - die Schwester des Papstes Damasus. Zur Entwicklung dieses Kreises hat der hl. Hieronymus durch biblische Konferenzen, gegrundet auch originellem hebraischem und griechischem Text, wesentlich beigetragen. Sie zwangen die Beteiligten zur vertieften Studie, zum Lesen und zur Meditation der Heiligen Schrift, lectio divina genannt, und veranlassten sie zur Praktik der systematischen Aszese, die den Grund zur Entwicklung des Frauenordenslebens in der Ewigen Stadt war.

Der Aufsatz zeigt die Darstellung der HI. Nonna, der Mutter von Gregor von Nazianz auf Grund seiner dichterischen Schópfung. Nonna war die friihchristliche Mutter, die der Sohn in den ca. 50 ihr gewidmeten Epigrammen verewigt hat. In Anlehnung der Dichtung des Gregors von Nazianz wurde die Aufmerksamkeit auf Vorziige des Charakters und Geistes und auf letzte Momente ihres Lebens gerichtet. Es wurde auch die groBe Rolle des Gebets unterzeichnet, das die Heilige im alltaglichem Leben begleitete.

The existing historiography keep silent about Anthusa, early widowed mother of St. John Chrysostom, who raised him, educated and led to Christianity. Subject of the article are experience and sufferings two fathers – Laertes, King of Ithaca and Priam, King of Troy. They both had that experience in its old age, but in differ­ent dimension. Son of the first of fathers – Odys has disappeared without tidings, but he came back to Ithaca after twenty years of wandering, to the great joy of longing father. The son of the second of fathers – Hector was killed in a duel with Achilles. The aged Priam in difficult conversation with his son’s killer is reminding Achilles the suffering of his aged father Peleus, who is living in loneliness, to break heart of Achilles. Due to well-aimed arguments, particularly adduction for the feckless old age of the father, aged Priam reaches intentional point – gets corpse of his son back.
