Treść przepowiadania do poszukujących Boga na przykładzie listów pasterskich biskupów Francji i Włoch

Pytanie o istnienie Boga, możliwość nawiązania z Nim kontaktu i ewentualny wpływ Boga na  życie człowieka nurtuje ludzi już od  wieków. W  niniejszym opracowaniu podjęty został problem treści przepowiadania do poszukujących Boga. W  pierwszej części opracowania omówione zostało zagadnienie podstawowego zadania biskupa, którym jest głoszenie słowa Bożego. W  dalszej kolejności przedstawione zostały inicjatywy mające na  celu bezpośredni zwrot do  osób poszukujących Boga. Przykładem bezpośredniego zwrotu do osób niewierzących, jak również poszukujących Boga, mogą być listy biskupów Francji  – Proponować wiarę we współczesnym społeczeństwie i Włoch – List do poszukujących Boga. Omówienie etapów ich powstawania i zarysowanie ogólnej charakterystyki oraz analiza treści są kolejnymi elementami treści niniejszego opracowania.

The question concerning the existence of God, possibility to contact Him and a potential influence of God on human life has intrigued mankind for ages. This work focuses on the issue of the content of preaching to the searching for God. The first part of the work includes an analysis of the major task of a bishop, which is preaching the word of God. Further on the author presents initiatives aiming at  a  direct approach to  the searching for God. An  example of  a  direct approach to individuals who do not believe in God and the ones who are searching for Him are letters of bishops of France – Suggesting faith in the contemporary society and Italy – A letter to the searching for God. Analysis of stages of their writing and outline of their general characteristics as well as content analysis are consecutive parts of this study.

Baza bibliograficzna pozwala każdemu poszukującemu zlokalizować poszukiwane książki, dysertacje, artykuły, streszczenia i recenzje. Jest cennym źródłem informacji o publikacjach ukazujących się w ramach danej dyscypliny naukowej. Dotyczy to zwłaszcza stale aktualizowanych bibliografii elektronicznych. Celem niniejszego opracowania jest prezentacja kierunków badań w homiletyce polskiej na podstawie zawartości elektronicznej Bibliografii homiletycznej. Bibliografia homiletyczna w latach 2006–2015 wzbogaciła się o 800 dodanych opracowań dotyczących zagadnień homiletycznych. W najnowszych publikacjach homileci polscy realizują wiele postulatów wysuwanych w stosunku do nich. Wskazują na priorytetową rolę homilii w przepowiadaniu słowa Bożego, akcentują mistagogiczny wymiar homilii. Szeroko omawiane są zagadnienia z zakresu homiletyki formalnej, zwłaszcza zaś retorycznego wymiaru przepowiadania.

A bibliographic database allows every researcher to locate desired books, dissertations, articles, summaries and reviews. It is a valuable source of information on publications in a field of a given scientific discipline. It applies in particular to the constantly updated electronic bibliographies. The aim of this paper is to present directions of research in Polish homiletics based on the electronic content of The Homiletic Bibliography. In 2006–2015 The Homiletic Bibliography expanded by 800 added items on homiletic issues. In the latest publications Polish homilists meet many demands formulated in relation to them. They point at a priority role of a homily in preaching the Word of God and emphasise a mistagogic dimension of a homily. Issues related to a formal homiletics are widely discussed, with a special emphasis on the rhetorical dimension of preaching.

Papież Franciszek w adhortacji apostolskiej Evangelii gaudium o głoszeniu Ewangelii we współczesnym świecie z 2013 roku podejmuje wiele zagadnień dotyczących roli Ducha Świętego w praktyce kaznodziejskiej. W opracowaniu zostały podjęte zagadnienia dotyczącekwestii pneumatologicznych w przepowiadaniu kaznodziejskim, powołania do słuchania ludzi i głoszenia słowa Bożego, roli Ducha Świętego w przygotowaniu do głoszenia słowa Bożego, duchowości głosiciela słowa Bożego. Wskazane również zostały niebezpieczeństwa zagrażające współczesnym kaznodziejom. Podstawowym źródłem opracowania jest przesłanie Evangelii gaudium, z której powyższe zagadnienie zostały wydobyte i przeanalizowane.

Pope Francis in his apostolic exhortation on preaching the Good News in the contemporary world Evangelii gaudium published in 2013 discusses numerous issues related to the role of the Holy Spirit in the preaching practice. The study includes the topic of pneumatological content in preaching, the call to listen to people and preaching the word of God, the role of the Holy Spirit in preparation for preaching the word of God, spirituality of a preacher of the word of God. Also, it focuses on dangers faced by contemporary preachers. The basic source of the study is the apostolic exhortation Evangelii gaudium which the issues mentioned above have been derived from and analyzed.

Listening to sermons is getting more and more difficult for a contemporary man. This may be due to the growing discrepancy between language used and understood by listeners and the language of preachers. The language of sermons and homilies is the literary one in its normative-anddidactic form. The official teaching of the Church shows that a considerable importance is attributed to the verbal sphere of preaching. The language of preaching should be correct, esthetic and contemporary. Also, it should be adequate, which is congruent with the reality it describes. In the preaching of the Word of God the content is the most important. The form of the utterance should serve the content.

Father Stanisław Wilczewski Ph.D. became famous as a splendid speech therapist, working theoretically and practically for the sake of the culture of the living word and as an esteemed preacher. This paper aims at presentation of his activities that give testimony to his attention to the quality of the preached words and preaching in general. Wilczewski taught future priests a hygiene of voice, which should be communicative with an internal involvement and the experience of the preaching the Word of God and the preaching action. He was one of the most outstanding preachers in the history of the diocese of Katowice.

Jednym z podstawowych kryteriów au­tentyczności bycia chrześcijaninem jest umiejętność przebaczania. Do takiej postawy trzeba ciągle wychowywać. Jedną z misji Kościoła jest wychowywanie swoich członków. Prawdziwe wychowanie powinno obejmować pełną formację człowieka i odnosić się zarówno do ostatecznego celu życia człowieka, jak i dobra wspólnego społeczności. Podstawowe zadania wychowawcze Kościoła związane są z realizacją jego funkcji zbawczych: głoszenia słowa Bożego, oddawania czci Bogu i realizowania miłości bliźniego, opierając się na zdrowej miłości samego siebie. Jednym z najważniejszych środków wychowawczych, zwłaszcza w zakresie wychowania religijnego, które są w dyspozycji Kościoła, jest przepowiadanie homilijne. Homilia wśród wielu innych podejmuje również zagadnienie przebaczenia. Celem niniejszego opracowania jest przedstawienie szczególnej roli homilii w wychowaniu do przebaczenia. W kolejnych punktach omówione są kwestie homilisty jako wychowawcy, wychowawczej roli homilii oraz zagadnienie centralne – homilii o przebaczeniu. W końcowej części opracowania przedstawione są sugestie nowo wydanego Dyrektorium homiletycznego, dotyczące zagadnienia przepowiadania na temat przebaczenia. Homilia, czerpiąc z Pisma świętego oraz liturgii, będąc integralną częścią eucharystii, pomaga w porozumieniu się z drugim człowiekiem oraz zachęca do uwiarygodnienia swojej wiary przez postawę przebaczenia.

One of the basic criteria of authenticity of being a Christian is ability to forgive. One constantly needs to be brought up to this attitude. One of the missions of the Church is to bring up her members. The real upbringing should comprise a full formation of a person and relate to the ultimate aim of his/her life as well as a common good of a community. The basic educational tasks of the Church are related to accomplishment of its redemptive functions: preaching the word of God, worshipping God and pursuing love of neighbours based on healthy love of oneself. One of the most important educational means, especially with respect to religious upbringing, possessed by the Church, is homiletic preaching. Among many issues, a homily takes up a problem of forgiveness. The aim of this paper is to present a special role of a homily in preparing for forgiveness. Consecutive points present the issues of a homilist as a pedagogue, a pedagogic role of a homily and the central issue – a homily of forgiveness. The final part of the paper presents suggestions of the newly published Homiletic Directory concerning the issue of preaching on forgiveness. A homily, with its sources in the Bible and the liturgy, being an integral part of the Eucharist, helps to communicate with another person and encourages its listeners to authenticate their faith by the attitude of forgiveness.
