Text se zaměřuje na chrématonyma a jejich funkcí ve vybraných literárních textech dvou českých autorů, Bohumila Hrabala a Oty Pavla. Zatímco v Hrabalových povídkách chrématonyma vytvářejí kontrast šedivé současnosti komunistického režimu padesátých let к pestrosti předválečného života, v prózach Oty Pavla slouží jako evokace vzpomínek na šťastné dětství a mládí prožité v Praze a u řeky Berounky.
