The aim of the research is to identify positioning skills of a contestant, based on original criteria of activities assessment, from the point of view of their diversity and the degree of the risk involved. The basis of the presented concept of research is the division which takes into consideration the accuracy of a player’s action who is able to create scoring situation at a given moment of a match as well as controlling the positioning of the game or counteracting the actions of his opponent. The main subject of interest in this case is so-called positioning, which constitutes the essential “substance” of events taking place in the field, at least in its voluminal aspect. The presented paper constitutes an element of development of a wider research concept, which enriches the theory of sports games in their praxeological dimension. In future, the aim of similar analysis will focus on a pragmatic aspect which could be implemented, however, at the present stage the results are of theoretical value only.
Powyższy artykuł stanowi próbę ukazania dziejów jednej z gałęzi rodu hrabiów Zamoyskich (herbu Jelita), która w latach 1835 - 1944 posiadała dobra Podzamcze, Maciejowice i Trzebień, w powiecie garwolińskim.

The article describes the attitude of Zygmunt Wielopolski, leader of the supporters of the Polish-Russian settlement, towards national traditions and identity. In 1880 Zygmunt Wielopolski sent an open letter to the journal “Orędownik” [The Advocate] published in Poznań. The author presented there his political credo and defended the Polish national interest constrained by intense Russification of the Kingdom of Poland following the failure of the January Uprising. Wielopolski appealed to compatriots and requested them to keep the Polish language and cling on to the Catholic religion of their fathers , perceiving these as the most important things during the partition of Poland. Wielopolski’s open defense of the Polish identity was aimed at neutralising the common accusations of the national apostasy of the supporters of the Polish-Russian settlement. The letter to “Orędownik” was to break the isolation of Zygmunt Wielopolski after the fall of the January Uprising and contribute to gaining broader support from the bourgeois and intellectual circles.
The article aims at the presentation of the Soviet and German occupants’ policy towards the polish landed gentry in the years 1939–1945. An analysis of operations both totalitarian regimes possessing high social prestige in the interwar Poland was conducted. The study presents the aims that occupants wanted to gain from the social and property elite of the occupied country. This paper shows the collation of the two occupants’ operations. In the Soviet zone the occupants aspired to elimination the polish landed gentry as a social rank, whilst in the German zone weakening the position and the isolation in the Polish society were the objectives. The gentry property war employed by Germans led to the exploitation of agriculture in General – Gouvernement. The Soviet authorities used the Polish landed gentry to rationalise abolishment of the old order. In practice, it meant liquidation of the gentry’s property through nationalization and the appropriation of effects and immovables. It was often connected with illegal annexation and devastation.
