The particular values expressed by the Polish legislator, both for the purposes of banking supervision and in the entire Banking Law are not isolated, they interpenetrate and influence each other. They should be complementary to each other, although there is also a possibility of a conflict here, which is especially visible in the case of values protected by banking supervision. The Polish Banking Law has axiological foundations, expressed in the values functioning within the banking system, including the provisions that define the objectives of banking supervision. The axiological „superstructure” is the public interest, the content of which is filled by the “detailed values” of the banking market.
