Autorka omawia zjawiska językowe świadczące o konwencjonalności współczesnej piosenki estradowej. Analizie poddaje również zjawiska będące przejawem dążenia do odświeżenia gatunku. Punktem wyjścia prowadzonych rozważań jest charakterystyka stylu współczesnej piosenki estradowej oparta na badaniach płaszczyzny syntaktycznej. Uwaga autorki koncentruje się szczególnie na związkach składniowych konstytuowanych przez leksemy o najwyższej frekwencji oraz na produktywności syntaktycznej leksemów tworzących struktury dwuskładnikowe.

In the article Paulina Gajda presents some linguistic phenomena which prove the conventionality of contemporary stage songs. She also analyses some attempts to break with the convention. However, her starting point is the description of the stylistics of contemporary stage songs. The author’s attention is especially focused on syntactic structures formed by the most frequently used constituents as well as syntactic productivity of lexemes in two-part collocations.

The aim of the article is to present a specific features of business language at the initial stage of its development (years: 1870-1914). This stage provides an interesting research material and its analysis is necessary to have a full overview of business language as a specialized variety of contemporary Polish. The article concerns various aspects of this issue: diversity of business subject fields, the primacy of cognitive function over the communicative function and specific features of the grammatical and lexical scope. All features stem from the specific communicative situations in which business language as a language for specific purposes occurs. The analysis embraces the linguistic material that comes from the Krakow newspaper Czas.
