This article presents the theological and symbolic significance of the most important gestures in rite of priesthood ordination renewed after the Second Vatican Council. The author presents the following gestures: the vow of obedience, the imposition of hands, the imposition of stoles and chasuble, the anointing of hands, handing out bread and wine.

W artykule przedstawiono teologiczne i symboliczne znaczenie najważniejszych gestów odnowionej po Soborze Watykańskim II liturgii święceń prezbiteratu. Autor omawia następujące gesty: przyrzeczenia posłuszeństwa, nałożenia rąk, włożenia stuły i ornatu, namaszczenia rąk, przekazania chleba i wina.
