Celem artykułu jest przeprowadzenie analizy dotyczącej identyfikacji najważniejszych zagrożeń związanych z funkcjonowaniem człowieka w sieci jako członka społeczeństwa informacyjnego. Głównym problemem badawczym jest zatem pytanie, jakie niebezpieczeństwa zagrażają człowiekowi funkcjonującemu w cyberprzestrzeni? Rozwiązanie problemu badawczego umożliwiła analiza zgromadzonego materiału poprzez jego zbadanie, objaśnienie i kategoryzację. Stanowiło to podstawę do sformułowania tezy, że funkcjonowanie społeczeństwa informacyjnego w cyberprzestrzeni zawiera dużo pozytywnych cech, niemniej nie należy zapominać o zagrożeniach w postaci: zalewu informacji, uzależnienia psychicznego, działalności przestępczej. Najważniejszym jest jednak świadome i rozsądne korzystanie z Internetu przez użytkowników

The aim of the article is to identificate and analyse the most important risks associated with human functioning in the network as a member of the information society. The main research problem is the question of what dangers threaten a human functioning in cyberspace? An analysis of the material gathered through its examination, clarification and categorisation enables to solve the research problem. This provides the basis for formulating the thesis that the functioning of the information society in cyberspace includes many positive qualities, nevertheless, one should not forget about the dangers in the form of inundation of information, mental dependence, or criminal activity. The most important, however, is conscious and reasonable exertion of the Internet by users.

Wojna może być prowadzona dobrze lub źle w zależności od tego, czy będzie przebiegała zgodnie z przyjętymi planami, metodami, zasadami sztuki wojennej oraz założonym celem czy też nie. Współczesne społeczeństwo dąży do minimalizowania ryzyka na wojnie, czyli zmniejszania ryzyka dla zdrowia i życia swoich żołnierzy. Z wojną zawsze wiązało się ryzyko śmierci, obrażeń i zniszczeń. Dowódcy dążyli i dążą do zwiększenia bezpieczeństwa swoich żołnierzy, ograniczenia strat. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest ukazanie, że wojna nie jest wynikiem przypadku, lecz aktualnej wiedzy, którą muszą posiadać przede wszystkim dowódcy, a dowodzenie na wojnie polega coraz częściej na zarządzaniu, w tym na zarządzaniu ryzykiem. Proces zarządzania ryzykiem w wojsku obejmuje przedsięwzięcia w aspekcie przeciwdziałania pojawiającemu się ryzyku, które może prowadzić do odniesienia ran, śmierci żołnierzy, uszkodzenia, zniszczenia uzbrojenia i sprzętu oraz może negatywnie wpłynąć na cel realizowanego zadania. W trakcie zarządzania ryzykiem nie jest możliwe całkowite wyeliminowanie ryzyka, lecz realne jest wykluczenie jego nieakceptowalnego poziomu.

War may be conducted in a successful or unsuccessful way, depending on the fact if the war would or would not be fought in accordance with established plans, methods, rules of the art of warfare and established goal. Modern society aspires to minimize the risk at war – that is to reduce risk to health and life of the soldiers. Risk of death, injuries and damage has always been connected with war. The commanders have been striving to strengthen safety of their soldiers and to limit damage. The aim of the following article is to present that war is not the result of coincidence but the result of factual knowledge which commanders should acquire above all. Commanding at war consists more frequently in management also risk management. The process of risk management in the army includes activities concerning counteracting the risk that may cause injuries, death of soldiers, destruction, damage of weaponry and military equipment. The risk may also have a negative influence on the goal of the conducted mission. In the process of risk management it is not possible to entirely eliminate the risk but it is possible to reduce unacceptable level of the risk.
