The article deals with the problem of lexical and semantic collocations – systematic, normative, and idiomatic. The focus is on the analysis of collocations which are problematic for Ukrainians studying Polish, and the most frequent types of mistakes made by Ukrainian students are analyzed. Text exercises using lexical and semantic collocations including prefixal verbs are proposed for advanced Ukrainian-speaking learners.

W artykule przedstawiono problemy związane z leksykalno-semantyczną łączliwością wyrazów: systemową, normatywną, idiomatyczną. Skupiono się na analizie zagadnień łączliwości, przysparzających szczególnych kłopotów Ukraińcom uczącym się języka polskiego, omówiono najczęstsze rodzaje błędów popełnianych przez nich w tym zakresie. Zaproponowano ćwiczenia tekstowe dla zaawansowanego odbiorcy ukraińskojęzycznego obrazujące łączliwość leksykalno-semantyczną czasowników przedrostkowych.

The subject of the analysis presented in the article are the adverbs of degree showing strong syntactic connectivity with the adjective piękny (‘beautiful’), forming compounds with this adjective with the status of collocation. The purpose of the study – using corpus data – is to trace the contextual determinants of the occurrence of these adverbs and demonstrate the dependence of their selection on what type of object is aesthetically assessed in a given statement. The study has shown that some of these adverbs are stronger and others less dependent on these determinants. This relationship strength depends on the way (strategy) in which a given adverb expresses the attribute’s intensity.

Przedmiotem analizy przedstawionej w artykule są przysłówki stopnia wykazujące silną łączliwość syntaktyczno-składniową z przymiotnikiem piękny, tworzące z tym przymiotnikiem związki o statusie kolokacji. Celem badania – wykorzystującego dane korpusowe – jest prześledzenie kontekstowych uwarunkowań występowania tych przysłówków, wykazanie zależności ich doboru od tego, jaki typ obiektu jest w danej wypowiedzi poddawany ocenie estetycznej. Badanie pokazało, że niektóre z tych przysłówków są silniej, a inne słabiej uzależnione od tych uwarunkowań. Siła tej zależności ma związek ze sposobem (strategią) wyrażania intensywności cechy przez dany przysłówek.
