The pericope Mk 15, 33-41 includes the account of the death of Jesus and the conduct of the witnesses of this extremely important salvation event. In the article, this pericope is subject to literary analysis, the exegesis of the text is carried out and the kerygmatic message is indicated. Jesus, dying surrounded by two ill-doers, is the Messiah and the king of Israel. Crucified and derided, he did not save himself, but redeems others by his death. As he accepted the suffering voluntarily, he is the Saviour of all.
