The aim of this article is to present results of research conducted with the method of participant observation during classes in acoustic ecology for schoolchildren. Classes were organized as an answer to demands of acoustic ecology that emphasizes the need of universal education in sound consciousness and sonological competence. The level of knowledge about acoustic ecology among subjects, their level of sensitivity to sonic environment and understanding of aesthetic and artistic features of the sound were assessed. Common features of education in acoustic ecology and pedagogy of creativity were recognized. It indicates that it is possible and desirable to join classes in acoustic ecology with elements of creativity training, which answers the needs of modern education.

W artykule prezentowane są wyniki badań wykonanych metodą obserwacji uczestniczącej podczas zajęć z zakresu ekologii akustycznej prowadzonych z dziećmi w wieku szkolnym. Zajęcia zostały zorganizowane jako odpowiedź na postulaty ekologii akustycznej, traktujące o konieczności powszechnego kształcenia świadomości dźwiękowej i tzw. kompetencji sonologicznej. Zwrócono uwagę na stopień znajomości zagadnień z ekologii akustycznej wśród badanych i ich poziom wrażliwości na środowisko dźwiękowe oraz rozumienie walorów estetycznych i artystycznych dźwięku. Zaobserwowano cechy wspólne edukacji z zakresu ekologii akustycznej i pedagogiki twórczości. Wskazuje to na możliwość połączenia takich zajęć z elementami treningu kreatywności, co łącznie wpisuje się w potrzeby nowocześnie rozumianej edukacji.
