The present paper offers a semantic analysis of selected plant-related Polish and English blends and compounds in the light of Conceptual Integration Theory (cf. Fauconnier and Turner 1998, 2002). As defined by Fauconnier and Turner, conceptual integration is a dynamic process which allows us to account for novel expressions that emerge as the result of complex mental operations during which various elements of disparate domains might be activated and entrenched in a given context. Therefore, plant-related blends and compounds such as nagietek, lemonata, or kora dębowa will be put here under scrutiny and analysed with the aid of the four-space network model.

Дается подробное семантическое описание этих глаголов, приводятся примеры упражнений, способствующих усвоению этих лексем иностранцами в языковом, речевом и коммуникативном аспектах.

The article deals with static and dynamic semes, which are the subject of study in practice classes of Russian as a foreign language. A detailed semantic description of these verbs is given along with examples of exercises that help foreigners to assimilate with these lexems in language, speech and communication.

W artykule omówiono czasowniki z semami: 'statyczność' i 'dynamiczność', które są obiektem nauczania na kursie języka rosyjskiego jako obcego. Zawarto opis szczegółowy semantyki tych czasowników, zilustrowano przykładami ćwiczeń, które mają na celu ułatwienie przyswojenia tych słów przez cudzoziemców w aspekcie językowym, mownym i komunikacyjnym.
