Является ли тема рая философской проблемой? По всей вероятности, ответ на данный вопрос должен быть отрицательным, однако трудно избавиться от желания рационально проанализировать названное понятие. Рай – как понятие, которое иногда воспринимается как обещание и шанс продлить заканчивающуюся смертью человеческую экзистенцию, особенное, исключительное место, радикально отличающееся от всего, что нам привычно, которое может оказаться местом полного выявления Истины и которое должно помочь ответить на вопросы о возможном наличии высочайшего Существа – представляется важной темой для размышлений. Этому не противоречит тот факт, что исследователи нечасто обращались к данной проб-лематике. Николай Бердяев, философ, действующий на стыке философии с религией, анализа с мистикой, ставит рай в центр своих исследований. Его размышления являются настолько вдохновляющими, что стоит к ним то и дело возвращаться. Основная цель предлагаемого нами текста заключается в изложении идей Николая Бердяева.

Is paradise a philosophical issue? It certainly is not, but it is hard to resist the temptation to conduct a rational analysis of the problem. Paradise, which is a final promise and an opportunity to extend the existence that inevitably ends with death, which appears to be special, unique, and radically different from everything we know, which is to be the possible place of disclosure of the full Truth, and last but not least, which is to answer our questions about the existence of the Highest Being, appears to be an inspiration, an exceptional stimulus to think. This is not negated by the fact that there have been few people who discussed this topic. Nikolai Berdyaev, a philosopher focusing on the boundary between philosophy and religion, and between analysis and mysticism, makes paradise the object of his reflections. His reflections are so inspiring that they deserve going back to. His concept constitutes the principal subject matter of the text presented here.

Предметом размышлений автора статьи является старость. Автор в своем исследовании ссылается на литературу, касающуюся предмета, высказывания старших людей, личный опыт и размышления. Автор указывает на распространение моды на молодость при том, что общество европейских стран стареет. При этом подчеркивает, что общество современной Европы, в том числе и польское, не готово принять старость. Автор постулирует необходимость подготовки к «старению», как в общественной, так и в личностной перспективах. Для того, чтобы старость была сносной, раз она уже не может быть красивой, доброй, мудрой и счастли-вой, она должна быть в меру безопасной.

The subject of the author of the article reflecting is aging. The author refers to the literature on this subject, elder people’s observations, own experience and thoughts. The author indicates the prevailing fashion for youth while the European society is aging. He emphasizes that many societies of modern Europe, including Polish are not prepared to accept aging. The author postulates the need to prepare for “aging” in both social and individual life. For bearable aging, if it cannot be beautiful, good, wise and happy, it should be at least safe.
