accumulating intellectual potential in the field of “memory studies”. Modern discourse of "memory" is the sphere of intersection of scientific interests of history, sociology, psychology, art studies, political science etc. This discourse has formed a truly new paradigm of knowledge with its conceptual-categorical apparatus (“memory masks”, “memory landscape”, “memory space” etc.). The memory space is heterogeneous, and its comprehension is similar to nonlinear reading of a certain hypertext. This process, as a rule, focuses on certain objects – “places of memory”, indicative in one sense or another. The vector of the proposed considerations is generated by the desire to reconstruct the multicultural landscape of the musical-historical memory of Lviv – the third in Europe after Salzburg and Vienna Mozart Center. The main focus is on the expressive topography of this landscape, the “place of memory”, which collected within its historical coordinates the musical experience of the fruitful cooperation of musicians of European glory (J. Elsner, F. K. Mozart, J. Rukgaber, K. Mikuly, K. Lipinsky, S. Lyudkevich, V. Barvinsky etc.), representatives of various national cultures – the history of the oldest Ukrainian higher educational institution - the Lviv M. Lysenko National Academy of Music.

In recent decades, in the post-Soviet area, an interest of linguists in religious subjects has been increasing. Linguists undertake a large-scale research on the religious image of the world. Studying the Bible gains in importance, and the attention of many researchers focuses on the multi-facited description of phraseological units of the biblical origin. In contemporary Russian linguistic analyzes, there are two approaches to the study of phraseological expressions of biblical provenance: in accordance with the Russian or western research traditions. Representatives of both fields of study refer in their works to the achievements of Russian or foreign scientists. The resulting studies are typologically diversified. Among them you can find literary, philosophical and linguistic works, articles of historical and cultural character, descriptive and comparative works (created on the basis of material from several languages), experimental dictionary publications and other types of scientific texts. The present article is a presentation of the most important, in my opinion, works on the religious image of the world.

В статье рассматриваются этноязыковые реализации концепта ХИТРОСТЬ сквозь призму оппозитивных понятий, эмоционально-оценочных метафор, национально маркированных ассоциаций с использованием энциклопедических знаний. Общим для всех исследуемых языков является пейоративное осмысление ХИТРОСТИ, сформированное, в частности, под воздействием христианских этических принципов, и убеждённость в недолговечности и ограниченности успеха, достигнутого нечестным путём. В украинской и русской лингвокультурах ХИТРОСТЬ в её негативно маркированных ипостасях репрезентирована лестью, лицемерием, ложью, коварством. Вместе с тем можно констатировать амбивалентную аксиологическую маркированность ХИТРОСТИ в национально-языковых картинах мира, поскольку в ряде паремий хитрость рассматривается как своего рода «разновидность» прагматически ориентированного ума, соотносимого с мудростью, ловкостью, жизненным опытом, и получает достаточно позитивную оценку в коллективном этническом сознании.

W artykule rozpatrywane są etnolingwistyczne realizacje konceptu „Przebiegłość” w kontekście pojęć opozycyjnych, metafor wartościujących czy narodowo nacechowanych skojarzeń. W lingwokulturze ukraińskiej i rosyjskiej „Przebiegłość” w swoich pejoratywnie nacechowanych hipostazach jest utożsamiana z pochlebstwem, sprytem, fałszem i kłamstwem. Jednocześnie zauważa się ambiwalentne nacechowanie aksjologiczne Przebiegłości w językowo-ludowych obrazach świata, gdyż w wielu paremiach koncept ten jest związany z rozsądkiem, swego rodzaju mądrością życiową czy doświadczeniem, a zatem zyskuje względnie pozytywną ocenę w kolektywnej świadomości etnicznej.

The article deals with the contrastive research of concept “cunning” on the material of Ukrainian, Russian, English and Italian proverbs. In question universal and ethnic semantic components of the concept are described; the attempt is made to cast light on its cognitive connections, the status in the conceptual spheres of the national cultures. Based on the language facts the conclusions are made about ethnic peculiarities of world outlook, cultural and value orientations of the nations.
