Artykuł określa uwarunkowania organizacyjno-pedagogiczne, które w połączonym działaniu przyczynią się do rozwoju zawodowego nauczycieli w okresie studiów podyplomowych, a także sugeruje sposoby ich realizacji. Autor analizuje rozwój krajowych i zagranicznych naukowców, ujawnia niezbędny aparat pojęciowy, rozważa organizacyjne i pedagogiczne uwarunkowania rozwoju kompetencji zawodowych nauczycieli historii szkoły profilowej, sugeruje sposoby ich produktywnej pomocy; określa potencjał samokształcenia w procesie rozwoju zawodowego.

The article defines the organizational and pedagogical conditions that in their combined action will contribute to the professional growth of teachers in the postgraduate period, suggests ways to implement them. The author analyzes the developments of domestic and foreign scientists, reveals the necessary conceptual apparatus, considers the organizational and pedagogical conditions for the development of professional competence of history teachers of the profile school, suggests ways of their productive assistance; determines the potential of self-education in the process of professional development.
