Zjawisko przestępczości pospolitej na terenie Generalnego Gubernatorstwa i jego przeobrażenia w latach 1939-1945

The paper concerns the problem of changes in common crime on the territory of the General Government in the years 1939-1945. With the limited possibility of quantitative analysis of the crimes committed, the author made an attempt at categorizing them. Moreover, new types of crimes, recorded in the period of occupation, including those mainly directed at the Jewish population were identified. The author also noticed increasing brutality and violence of crimes committed. The analysis was illustrated with the examples from the records of Polish ‘blue’ police in the State Archive in Lublin and descriptions in the literature on the subject.

Tematem artykułu jest przybliżenie problemu zmian zachodzących w przestępczości pospolitej na obszarze Generalnego Gubernatorstwa w latach 1939-1945. Przy ograniczonej możliwości przedstawienia stanu ilościowego popełnianych przestępstw autorka dokonała analizy ich struktury. Wskazała na zupełnie nowe rodzaje przestępstw, które pojawiły się w okresie okupacji, w tym wymierzonych głównie przeciwko ludności żydowskiej. Dostrzegła również postępującą brutalizację działań przestępców. Podjęto także próbę wskazania przyczyn prowadzących do rozwoju przestępczości. Analiza została zilustrowana przykładami zaczerpniętymi z akt polskiej policji „granatowej”, zdeponowanymi w Archiwum Państwowym w Lublinie oraz opisami występującymi w dostępnej literatury przedmiotu.
