Rewitalizacja przestrzeni śródmiejskich współczesnych miast – wybrane przykłady z miasta Poznania

Głównym celem opracowania jest przedstawienie efektów wybranych poznańskich realizacji projektów rewitalizacyjnych w kontekście spełnienia określonych celów i kryteriów rewitalizacji oraz niektórych potrzeb i ograniczeń, a także krótkie podsumowanie aktualnego stanu wiedzy. W artykule podkreślono niektóre problemy, jakie towarzyszą przekształceniom obszarów śródmiejskich, w tym trudności w pogodzeniu odmiennych interesów różnych uczestników procesów rewitalizacji, jak również zmieniających się potrzeb użytkowników z różnymi ograniczeniami. Rozważania oparto na studiach wybranych przypadków z obszaru śródmieścia Poznania. Wybrano te realizacje, które są postrzegane jako swoiste miejskie „ikony” oraz które zostały uznane za realizacje wzorcowe. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych analiz sformułowano ogólne wnioski oraz uwagi, jakie powinny być uwzględniane w procesach rewitalizacyjnych.

The main aim of the elaboration is to present the effects of selected revitalization projects designed for the City of Poznań, in the context of fulfilling certain goals and criteria of revitalization, as well as some needs and limitations. Apart from this, the author provides a brief summary of current knowledge on the issue of urban revitalization. Some of the problems that are associated with transformation of downtown spaces are highlighted, including difficulties in reconciling different interests of various participants of the revitalization process, as well as changing needs of users with various constraints. These reflections are based on studies of selected cases from the area of Poznan’s downtown, the realizations of which are perceived as “urban“ icons and have been identified as reference examples. On the basis of the analyses, some general conclusions and observations, which should be taken into consideration regarding revitalization processes, are formulated.
