This article discusses the process of forming 1. cavalry regiment Plock in the November uprising. This issue has not yet been researched. Create a troop in the voivodeship of Plock proceeded relatively quickly. This effect was achieved, among others things through a combination of „quotes riders” with volunteers which allowed to hide shortcomings. Very important was the attitude of the population that was relatively favorable to the uprising and ready to make sacrifices. Cases of dislike were sporadic.

Artykuł omawia proces formowania 1. pułku jazdy płockiej w powstaniu listopadowym. Zagadnienie to nie zostało dotychczas zbadane. Tworzenie oddziału w województwie płockim przebiegało stosunkowo sprawnie. Taki efekt udało się osiągnąć m.in. dzięki połączeniu „jeźdźców dymowych” z ochotnikami, co pozwoliło ukryć niedociągnięcia. Bardzo ważna była również postawa ludności, która była stosunkowo przychylna powstaniu i gotowa do poświęceń. Przypadki niechęci były na początku powstania sporadyczne.
