The subject of the study is to present the political attitudes of the inhabitants of the Gostynin poviat in the years 1926–1935. The author presents the electoral preferences of the inhabitants, shows their socio-political activity and the attitudes of the leaders of political parties and organizations favoring the Sanacja, as well as the opposition to the Piłsudski camp. The article is part of the author’s doctoral dissertation entitled The Gostynin Powiat in the Years of the Second Polish Republic. Political, Socio-Economic, and Cultural Life, prepared in 2013 under the supervision of Professor Janusz Szczepański (prof. dr hab.) at Aleksander Gieysztor Academy of Humanities in Pułtusk.

Przedmiotem opracowania jest ukazanie postaw politycznych mieszkańców powiatu gostynińskiego w latach 1926–1935. Autorka przedstawia preferencje wyborcze mieszkańców, ukazuje ich aktywność społeczno-polityczną oraz postawy liderów partii politycznych i organizacji sprzyjających sanacji, a także pozostających w opozycji do obozu piłsudczyków. Artykuł stanowi część dysertacji doktorskiej autorki Powiat gostyniński w latach Drugiej Rzeczypospolitej. Życie polityczne, społeczno-gospodarcze i kulturalne, przygotowanej w 2013 r. pod kierunkiem prof. dr hab. Janusza Szczepańskiego w Akademii Humanistycznej im. Aleksandra Gieysztora w Pułtusku.
