L'articolo affronta la questione della nuova alleanza nella prospettiva del cuore umano. La centralita della trasformazione interna dell'uomo si nota nei testi Ger 31,31-34 ed Ez 36,24-28. Prima di entrare nell'esegesi di questi brani viene presentato l'uso del termine "cuore" nell'antropologia biblica. In seguito si passa all'analisi retorica dei brani scelti che permette di vedere le relazioni semantiche in cui entra il lessema esaminato. La riflessione conclusiva cerca di definire la novita dell'alleanza annunziata da Geremia ed Ezechiele.
