Celem opracowania jest analiza sytuacji zdrowotnej ludności Aglomeracji trójmiejskiej, do której zaliczono 3 powiaty stanowiące jej rdzeń i 8 tworzących strefę podmiejską. Analizie poddano umieralność (ogółem oraz z powodu chorób układu krążenia i nowotworów, różnice w umieralności między płciami, noworodków/niemowląt) oraz zachorowalność na wybrane choroby. Stwierdzono, że gorsza sytuacja występuje w obszarze rdzenia aglomeracji. Lecz stawianie dalej idących wniosków bezwzględnie wymaga najpierw przeprowadzenia standaryzacji wiekowej współczynników umieralności i zachorowalności

The objective of the study is to analyse the health situation of the population of inhabiting the Tri-City Agglomeration, which comprises 3 counties forming its core and 8 ones forming the suburban zone. The death rate (total and due to cardiovascular diseases and cancer, differences in the death rate depending on sex, newborn babies/infants) and the incidence of selected diseases were analysed. A worse situation was found to occur in the core cities. But putting forward further conclusions strictly requires calculating the standardized death rate first.
