Przedmiotowy artykuł opracowany został w celu przybliżenia zadań i roli Policji w czasie wystąpienia sytuacji kryzysowej, jakim była pandemia wysoce zjadliwego wirusa ptasiej grypy, o pod typie H5N8. Przeanalizowana zostanie kompetencja tej służby państwowej w oparciu o przepisy prawa. Analiza oparta została na wydarzeniach, jakie miały miejsce na terenie woj. lubuskiego na przełomie roku 2016/ 2017.

The subject was developed to approximate the task and the role of the police during the crisis situation, which was a pandemic of a highly pathogenic avian influenza virus of the type h5n8. The competence of this state service based on the law will be analyzed. The analysis was based on events that took place in the Lubusz region in 2016/2017.
