Anastasia Tsvetayeva about animals’ death(by the example of the work Moya Sibir) The author analyses Anastasia Tsvetayeva’s Moya Sibir from the perspective of animal studies. In the article, we follow this forgotten writer’s (who very deeply experienced animals’ deaths) attitude towards animals. In her memories, Tsvetayeva describes her love for animals (dogs, cats, et al.) in details, from the ethical aspect. Particularly, she focuses on their death, which causes her a strong psychic trauma. The author proves that respect towards death of animals results from a unique attitude towards the Other.

Анастасия Цветаева о смерти животных(на примере произведения Моя Сибирь) Автор анализирует произведение Моя Сибирь Анастасии Цветаeвой в перспективе animal studies. В статье прослеживается отношение к животным этой забытой российской писательницы, которая очень сильно переживала их смерть. А. Цветаева в своих воспоминаниях подробно описывает свою любовь к животным (собакам, кошкам и др.) в этическом аспекте. Она особенно сосредоточивается на их смерти, которая вызывает у нее психологическую травму. Автор статьи доказывает, что уважение к смерти животных вытекает у нее из особого отношения к Другому.
